    Who cares about this?  No way would fans vote for LMA over Kevin Durant who don't watch Portland.

    I'm sure LMA will have Sloan and Karl's votes by now. He'll make it.  I don't think coaches are as stupid as the fans and they don't believe the overrated crap.

     Butler is the only one on this list who for sure shouldnt be ahead of Aldridge.

    If you are the guy that coaches set their defense up to revolve around you (Aldridge as of late) the coaches obviously recognize you so they will vote you as all star. Aldridge definitely not know enough to be voted all star starter. but he will more than likely be a backup. GO BLAZERS! 10 11 Champs

    He has a shot at a reserve spot? fans only vote for starters.

    actually Duncan drfinately doesnt deserve to be ahead of aldridge either.  But Aldridge is probably still the 6th or 7th best forward in the west so I doubt he will be voted into the game.  Im guessing the fans will vote in Melo, Durant, Dirk, and Gasol and than the coaches will probably vote in Griffin and either Scola, Odom, Love, Duncan or aldridge. so his chances of getting in are pretty slim since there are so many other forwards that are pretty much just as good as Aldridge who will all be competing for that final spot.  I think he would get in if he was any other position but there are like 10 really good forwards in the west who are just as deserving of an all star spot as Aldridge.  Thats why Odom still hasnt been voted in to the allstar game.

    in the past i have noticed that Portland players, like Roy, tend to be picked more often by coaches than by the fans.  LA probably isn't the first name to come to mind for fans of any other team.  i think the same will happen here with LA.  coaches obviously already notice his skill, judging by the double-teams he draws...

    Aldridge doesn't have a chance in the fan vote.  Just not enough national exposure.  He does have a chance being voted in by the coaches.  Especially since there is arguably no worthy center selections in the west.

    Yes your right napoleon, he surely will be voted in by the coaches, but thats if bynum and nowitzki can stop being picked up by fans, because Dirk can play in center so I wouldnt start thinking about this untill nowitzki is not playing.
