Camby to retire if traded to a non playoff contender?

    Ive read a brief article on ESPN RUMERS and other web sites about this topic.

    With all this trade talk and white screening the blazers have been doing recently i feel they could just take Cambys name off the trade market.

    A. He's a great team player
    B. GREAT rebounder/ Blocks
    C. Hustles like he is 20
    D. Great for the community

       Would it be fair to trade him to a team like the bobcats? or other bottom feaders?

    I totally agree I really don't want to get rid of Canby. I think he really likes it here in Portland and he's a really good player and when we needed him when we had no bigs he really stepped up and very quickly became a fan favorite in Portland. I still think we need him too. It's kindof obvious. You saw how we played against the Nuggets. LaMarcus did as much as he could on the rebs but one guy can only do so much and with Przybilla out...again, and Oden not going to be back for a long time (shocker) we can really use Canby. With the exception of a few injuries here and there just like all big guys get, he's been a pretty consistent player since he's gotten here and I totally agree with you when you say he still hustles like he's 20. He playes like a guy that has no limmits and I love that about him.

    That was my rant on why we should keep Marcus Canby. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day :)

    I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
