Portland nearly gave one away last week at home against the Warriors. Luckily for them, Monta Ellis missed the game-winning shot and all is forgiven. The Trail Blazers will be without Brandon Roy and Joel Przybilla again. It was Roy's 41 last year that broke our losing streak in the Bay Area last season.

Without Roy, PDX needs to continue to rebound, score in the paint, and run the entire offense through Aldridge. Golden State doesn't have a big that can match up physically with LA. Which means, the biggest key to winning is keeping LA out of foul trouble. He can't dominate on the sidelines.

I watched the GS at Sac. game a couple of days ago and the Warriors have some big weaknesses. Like you said, they don't have a center to match up with Aldridge and the offense takes a blow when they have few fast-break points. L.A can easily gobble up some offensive boards and take advantage of their small D. Portland needs to keep the game at their own pace, play well defensively, and control the glass. If our perimter shooting is at a high percentage it will open up the entire offense; scoring in the paint shouldn't be too much of a challenge.

What's at matter?  No one on the Blazers bring energy to Golden State.  Honestly, that's our problem.  We look like idiots out there whenever we're against Golden State.  We're like 50x better than the Warriors.  I find it funny that we lose all the time there but win by 30 (except the last time) whenever they come to the Rose Garden.

We need that energy and the mentality that we're going to win.

I joined Twitter.  I saw Patty Mill tell Rudy to not forget his 3 goggles like he did last time.  Rudy said he's got them packed.  Hopefully they win!

Hey, that might be it.  Patty MIGHT be our key!

Really? I'm already bored with it.  I only made it to contact my bro who moved to Vancouver since my phone is out of order.

Wish I was!!! I will however probably fit in a game when they travel to Sacramento...that works better for me. Does anyone know the injury report for tonight? Is Cunningham playing/starting? Also how is Camby doing?

    peace out,

Were you by chance the dude next to the chick with the dope dark velvet santa hats on? because you were on TV.
This game is a bit of a back and forth battle, WM is so fast, and playing so agressivley...wow.
Aldridge is playing well, but not as well as he was doing, but nice passes.

Ellis is playing accordingly and Lee is hot tonight.
a good team, but i cant help[ but feel if roy was out there this game would not be so close.

That was a completely discombobulated effort by the Blazers in the 4th quarter. We've grown used to seeing late game fumbles, just straight bad offensive plays that lead to launching a ball to beat the shotclock, and Coach pulling the hot hand out of the game, only to watch Miller shoot like an ice cube off the bench.
We've seen it more often then not this season, but now everyone watching the Christmas Day Special game has as well.

I was at the game.  One thing I noticed was when the Warriors were in a team huddle, they were huddled up close.  In the Blazers huddle, more than half the guys weren't listening to Nate, and the huddle was spread out.  The players are tuning him out.  We can talk all we want about Nate's coaching abilities, but if the players are tuning him out, it doesn't matter.  I'm sorry folks but Nate is done.

I agree about Nate, but this game proved one thing.  We need Brandon Roy.  He's our closer.  These droughts wouldn't happened if Roy returns and makes the big shots.  Blazers also need more 3 point shooters. Batum, Mathews, and Rudy should not be our 3 pt threat.

yeah its easy to say that, but what the better thing to ask would be, "why are the players reacting to him in that way?" is nate done, or do our guys need to take some classes in respect, and or listening skills.....
but i can feel you on the other one, it just helps to adress all possibilities....

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
