It seemed to me that a lot of the conversations was that Roy and Miller couldn't play together.  However, Roy is out and hopefully done for the season to give him time to rest.  After watching us play, I like the line up that we have.  We are still deep, long and athletic I think that if Blazer management was smart they would make an announcement bout Roy so the team can move on and put that distraction behind them.  I still think that without Roy we are a top 8 team in the west and if we get on a little roll we might even move up.  The combo of Miller/LA is a great combo with Rudy/Batum/Mathews roaming the wings is solid I think.

I personally don't think we need a trade at the moment.  Let the guys play a few games see how we go, I think we are deep enough to ride this one out once we let the guys adjust to new rolls and get into a groove.

Good points, I think after this next stretch of playing good teams we can get a honest gauge on our personal and the potential for the playoffs.

Yes! Give the guys a little time to settle into this new configuration and try it out on some tougher teams. we might not be "deep" enough, chopsui101, but we're tough enough. ;-)

Well this pretty much forces Nate to put 5 men on the floor whether he likes it or not. People are getting some playing time so we can now actually see what they can do and get them improved. Playoffs I am not really worried about,if we make it I am ecstatic, if we dont we can blame it on Sean Marks for not living up to his potential. (I forgot who posted that math but it was hilarious. it boiled down to we traded 5 people to get him).
I do like the team that is out there now. run and gun seems to work well for us especially with being tough on defense.

I believe a deal will take place before the end of this month, as a trade is the best way to utilize the injury exception granted the Blazers by the league for GO.

Direction is the operative word now in P'town.  What DIRECTION does owner Paul Allen want to take?  Without knowing THAT, everything is pure conjecture.

Run and gun, while entertaining, only nets teams wins during the regular season, and only against teams not headed for the postseason.  Just ask Golden State.

This post took me all the way down the garden path, phew, it's not about Patty Mills being relegated back to a bench warmer.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
