Via his interview on 1080 The Fan-
    Tidbits-

Portland could swing a deal of Miller/Camby for Nelson/Bass/Reddick
Portland is trying to get in as the 3rd team for a Melo trade
Portland is said to be making everyone available outside of Aldridge & Batum

All of this was per Ric Bucher of ESPN

If we dealt Camby and Miller, I'd much rather get back something other than Nelson and Bass. I think Jameer benefits from playing with Dwight and is Bass that much better than Dante?

Man, that trade would be interesting.
Personally, I'd do it. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Get dre on a championship contending team along with Camby as a BACKUP center, that team would be verry good in the East. Then we get a younger, better point guard fit with roy, a deadly shooter in reddick, and a beast (yes Hawes, I say better than Dante at this point) in Bass.
Again I'd do it if we could. I think it would help us greatly for this year

Interesting..seeing as how we tried to trade Pryzbilla and Batum for Iggy, I don't think Batum is untouchable.

I don't know how much I'd like that trade.. Miller is arguably the best PG in the league at passing and Camby gives Portland many second-chance opportunites with his offensive boards. With that said, I like having those veteran players who provide leadership with Roy injured. Yes Aldridge has stepped up wonderfully, and this seems more like a trade for the future, but I have become very attached and fond of our wiser players! Honestly, I would be extremely sad to see them go.

Would the Blazers be getting enough in return? In my opinion, it doesn't seem fit for this team; I could be wrong.

This trade would be way better for Orlando than us. Unless we are working on something else along with this I don't think its a good idea. Camby and Dre have been huge and to replace them with Jameer and no center is really dumb... unless we are working on something else. Especially since that would leave us with ZERO centers right now. Not to mention that we would then have Brandon, Matthews, Rudy and then Reddick. Maybe Jameer could play better along side Roy, but is Roy ever going to be the same? I would hate to see those guys go, but man that Orlando team would be really good then. I would also be rooting for them in the East and over all if we somehow do not make the Finals! ha ha

this is an interesting trade idea. when we were considering free agents last summer, Redick's name came to mind. he's a good hustler, defender and has a nice outside shot. Nelson might be a better compliment to our sg's than Dre. Bass would only be a backup pf to LaMarcus.

the problem with the trade is that it leaves us without a center. i realize that we'd have a roster spot open to sign a center, but the available centers aren't a better option than Marcus. keep in mind, when we last signed a free-agent big man, the best identified guy was Sean Marks.

i actually ran this through the espn trade machine and it worked. however, according to the analysis, we wouldn't gain any wins through the deal (same as orlando). given that, it seems that completing the trade would be making a trade just for the sake of making a trade. i'd rather see us make a trade that had a purpose and made sense.

ADDITION: to what i said above, and i know orlando would never go for this, but just for fun: if we added Brandon, Rudy and Luke, and orlando threw in Howard, this trade would also work and increase our win projection by 12.

Hell no!  We could get so much more for Camby, let alone Camby and Miller!  Who is going to be our Center?  Dante and Bass?  Joel is unreliable and injured AGAIN,  Oden has played 1/4 of his career.  What is the benefit of this trade?  As if the Blazers need MORE jumpshooters.  Only player I would like is Bass.  He is a beast.

get R' done Cho, good ol' buddy of mine.
If he can wiggle Melo from Denver, we'll be able to make the Lakers put their money where their mouth is.

Do not, under any circumstance, trade Camby! He's our defensive core! I could live with Andre and maybe Joel, but keep Camby in Portland! Unless you can get Howard in return!

I don't think acquiring Melo is what the plan is Tobyus.  I think what he meant was the Blazers being part of a 3 way trade that Melo is in.  Melo doesn't want to come to Portland and wouldn't sign an extension here.

I don't Like it.. Miller is going great guns for us.. Hes been on Fire. Bass and Nelson? No Thanks, Mills is better than nelson.. and Miller is 100 times better than Nelson... JJ Redick is the only plus.. and right now with Rudy's confidence sky high i prefer him over JJ.

Orlando's trying to pull another 'Phoenix Suns'. Please be patient.. right now we are playing much better. We are still in the process of finding out how we play without Roy.. and the following road trip against Utah and Denver will be the ideal test to see where we're at.

I think it would be a stoped trade for us, and would hurt us more than do good, ridick is a great shooter but with no center to rebound????? the team cant make every shot and it would be stupid to leave us with no center, but than again the organization has not some pretty stupid decisions in the past so who knows.

nellson is way better than millz, and better then miller to, idk why people are so ready to trade roy, but if miller or cambys name comes up they get offended or something. roy is our franchise player, and is going through some injurys, and everybody is giving up on him.. i dont get it? miller and camy are old, if we can get nice young players for a 37 and 35 year players, do it ina heartbeat, if anything this trade wud be bad for orlando. i just dont get why all of u dont wana do this trade?????

I think I would go through with the deal.  I like all three of the players we would be getting from the magic and I think Nelson is a way better fit for us than miller.  Also redick actually moves when he is off the ball which is something none of the current Blazers besides matthews and sometimes Rudy do.  Only problem with this deal is that Matthews, Rudy, Roy and Redick all play the same position so if we go through with this deal we would probably also have to trade Roy or Rudy in a seperate deal.

If thats soo.. why would Magic trade the younger and better Nelson as you say for Miller? Why would they get old camby when he'll never play wiht Dwight there. Think to yourself.. they would only go for miller if he is better and offers more to the team. They know how good miller is, even though hes under the radar in the NBA.

because they just got arenas, and they want more mins from him, and there kinda similar gaurds. they also probly like andres expiring contract. im not saying andre sucks, im saying nelson is better, and a better fit.
and they wanted a 7 footer or close to one, and camby wud be a perfect fit for them.

Keep Marcus. He's the guy the team needs to maintain an inside presence. And Miller is an underrated pg with savvy veteran skills the team needs to run the offense while Roy continues to rest and heal up.

We would also lose some size, rebounding and shot blocking with this deal since Camby is a better rebounder and shot blocker and is 2 inches taller, but also I think we need someone who can score inside and Bass is a way better inside scorer than Camby so like I said earlier I would go through with the deal.

how is it better, we are trading them two players that are more than likley going to retire in 2 years max.
    Its a STEAL!!!!!!
Bass is nothing out of the ordinary, but he is a decent forward who has had some work done on him and he knows how to shoot the ball, like LA.
Yea Nelson would work with Roy, perfect, heck you dont know he might even bring out the best in roy, or make it so roy doesnt have to work like a dawg for every bucket.
Reddick is a Dope Shooter, and i can some what understand at this point, why it is a downside for us, we already have way to many Shooters, however, None of them are as good as Redick. Who almost has a %39.4 career 3pt shooting, thats almost 4 out of 10 times he is going to sink it, better than anyone else's chances on this team. but again those aren't comfortable odds.
The magic already have 6 players that are 6'10 or taller, and Camby would just be another cog in that mix, i mean camby has one MAYBE 2 years left, and how much playing time is he going to see?
Again, besides the point, he is a great asset to this team, and one of the hardest working players. I mean you say we wouldnt have any Centers, what about Pryz?

hahah i mean you could always toy with Oden.
