Via Larry Miller on Trail Blazers Courtside.

I can't say that I'm surprised, because maybe Roy thought he rushed back too soon the last time he took an extended absence, compiled by the fact the team is in a groove right now, the "need" for Roy isn't as urgent as maybe it would have been had we been struggling lately.

We all saw how well the team performed without him against subpar opponents. Will the team continue the trend on the road at Golden State, Utah, and Denver? That will be the true test for the Trail Blazers in my opinion.

Good. I think they should have done this a while ago. I hope he can come back from this.

Keep Brandon resting and make sure he's 100%. The team has players who can step up in his absence + they have more continuity and flow in their offense. Don't get me wrong; I wish he was healthy enough to be part of this but  him getting healed will make the team better as the season progresses.

What do I care?  They already are going 0-4.  Not being a hater, I'm being real.  When was the last time we won in Denver and Utah.  When was the last time we BEAT Utah?  And how often do we win in Golden State?  HARDLY EVER.

Roy, enjoy a pack of beer and some nachos as you see why you're needed on this team.

I say try and trade roy all he is doing is collecting a paycheck, he is no good to us when he plays 3 or 4 games than has to sit out twice as many as he played, and ontop of that not even getting double digit points in the games he played oh i think he had 1 game he had 26. Maybe we can get lucky and go after cp3 atleast he is consistant and will help our team, I appreciat what Roy has done but he will never be the b-roy we all have come to now hes just becoming drama and whinning to much, look at nick van exel, cliff robinson they both played with no maniscus and i dont recall them haveing to sit out 6 games after playing acouple games. It's a sad situation but roy will never be our 30+ minute a game guys anymore well not without having to sit the next 6 games

cmeese47 - The only thing we know about JJ''s defensive skills was they sucked when playing against true big men at the 5.  We know nothing of his defensive side at the four.  We do know he dominates the boards, he plays in...

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
