    What if Andre Miller was a self-promoter?

    "If I was, then it wouldn't be me," he said last week. "I'd be faking it. My goal when I came in this league was to be one of the top playmakers, point guards of my time, or just come out and be judged by how I carry myself as a professional, in practice, in games, and just rubbing off on other people and making other people better. That's the great thing about being a point guard -- you get the opportunity to make people better."

    I'm surprised no one has brought this up though. Remember when Dre brought up that Derek Fisher flagrant on Scola in the playoffs on TNT? He has a very good point and Marv Albert ruined his point by saying it was two years ago and bla bla bla. And actually it was less than 2 years ago. Kerr then made the astute observation that flagrant fouls have not changed in two years, and of course Marv ignored that. So why wasn't Fisher suspended for that? Then I've heard a few people say he was suspended for that. OK, so then why does he have the current longest streak in the NBA?? Either way he shouldn't have the current iron man streak. To take away the iron man streak from Dre and then pass it on to someone who did the same damn thing (but much more vicious) is total hypocrisy!!! Andre has a very valid point. Unless for some weird reason playoff games do not count for the streak.

    And after reading it i was astounded by how true it was...
    Like you acted like an A hole, and then you make statements like an A hole afterward, so we perceive you as one, and then your A hole talents rubbed off on a fellow player in Rudy Gay, and look, he looks like an A hole too.
    Wow , forget self promoter, he's a psychic.

    "how i carry myself as a player..." psshh what a joke, like how can you honestly say that and expect people to respect you when you go out and act like a fool, ruin your starting streak a straight up record, and you continue to act like a child. like wtf? thats ridiculous hahaha.
    "im still proud, and i have good work habbits" like trying to body slam the opposing teams best player......
    nice. keep that up it'll be WWE for sure, for we want Ellis.

    Way to go Tay. This was not meant to be a bash Dre thread. He makes one push and now you think it is open season to express why you have never liked him in the first place and discredit his proven work record, going way overboard with your misinterpreted irrational rant and your pious display of hypocrisy by condemning his one lapse of control in the heat of a game while you can't even stop cussing for two seconds to say something in a forum.

    Yes we know you don't like Miller and you never have.
    P.S. he is not a psychic and he did not have his starting streak broken. ha ha

    With all due repsect you should of found a better article that wasntt about him painting the self portrait that makes him seem like ____ bag.
    He is just trying to play it off, but the fact is you acted like a straight up child in a MANS professional sport.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
