Trail Blazers Vs. Warriors Game Thread

    Portland now takes on the Warriors in a rare home back-to-back. This game could prove to be difficult for the Trail Blazers who seemingly aren't getting much time off between games, combined with the fact a few main players are questionable (Joel, Camby, Batum) and Golden State loves to run up and down all game long. This Warriors team has added another dimension with the acquisition of David Lee, someone who can finally help them on the boards.

    Even if the Blazers are down a few men, they can still pull this off if they continue to get consistent production out of Wesley, Aldridge dominates a small
    Golden State front court much as he has done the past two nights, and Rudy plays with his hair on fire again. The Warriors will allow easy buckets so Portland shouldn't be afraid to run, but they need to pick and choose their spots.

    this is gonna be a good game. golden state just runs and runs so theres potential for a lot of steals and fast breaks. i smell a whole lot more lob passes and highlight reel dunks perhaps? lamarcus has been tearing those up as of late. and i aint gonna argue with that.

    I think this will be a close game regardless of who suits up for us tonight. Golden State on a back to back will be tough on our guys but I think if we throw in our young guns they should be able to run with them.

    My only concern will be who's going to grab boards if both Camby and Pryz are out cause we got murdered last night when Camby left the game. We got key boards in the 4th (thanks LA!) but overall we did a poor job on the glass.

    If they play scrappy like they did last night we should be able to get the win.

    • Free throw shooting. Get hacked, make some throws
    • Rebounding. Golden State will crash the O-board
    • Blocks/Steals. Need good paint defense, no gimmies

    Geez! I knew Joel was out after seeing that pic of his swollen ankle. How long are they expected to be out?

    At least it will be exciting to see a lot of the bench players get a shot at playing.

    I just wish Sean Marks could learn how to box out!!! And get him some of those wide receiver gloves with extra grip.

    But that was a lucky win! Except if Monta would have hit that last shot I would have been really pissed because Matthews totally got taken out by an obvious foul that wasn't called.

    Free throws! Boom what have i been saying, thats what we need to win.
    Look, if we had failed to draw a foul and get two of those shots, we would of lost.
    that should be enough evidence , hahah, but i know its not.

    Intense game just checked the highlights. But damn lucky in that one.
     Ellis misses that last one and there should of been a foul i dont care what anyone says, WM tripped the fool up for sure, but they didnt catch it did they, lucky break.
    Aldridge lookin nice, and Mills looks soo funny out there, his apperence is so not NBA, im luvin it.
    And i guess they said alot of people were cheering for him, so nice, good for him.
    No roy? i didnt see him, but i did see alot of players on defense letting GS take 3's all day..... so please explain that to me, soneone, anyone, nate?

    I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
