That was a classy move to see Lamarcus pull the team together to honor Andre's impressive accomplishment. As soon as I saw that I knew we were going to win tonight. There's something to be said for team camaraderie and acknowledging each other to build some team chemistry. They really looked like a team on the same page tonight. It wasn't perfect but they seemed to at least feed off of each other.

Also this new look Lamarcus the last two games is OUTSTANDING!!!! He really is going inside like we all knew he could, but tonight he even got FIVE BLOCKS to go along with his double double and new career high!!! Keep it up Lamarcus!!!

LA has been a beast of late; whatever ritual he may be doing, he should never give it up. keep it going L-train

Tom, I missed the achievement of Andre's. I only got to see part of the game. What exactly did LaMarcus do to honor 'Dre?

Too bad LA missed those 2 late free throws, otherwise he would have set a new career-high! He was a man among boys tonight, doing whatever he wanted inside. I hope he continues to do so against Golden State and Milwaukee, neither of which have players  who can handle LA down low. He's put up back-to-back performances worthy of All-Star consideration. Keep it up LA!

I'd love to see more from LMA.  I think he's underrated in this league and can really be a powerful force.

Blazersforlife I only saw the end of the segment but what I saw was Lamarcus got the Blazers to present Andre with a trophy acknowledging his iron man streak of 632 games in a row. Mike Barrett said it was all Lamarcus' idea. I thought that was really cool.

But what I want to know is can the fans get that shirt as well?? I want a Dre 632 shirt!!

Great game tonight. Not against the best team but a win is a win!

I loved seeing him get 5 blocks and actually scoring inside.  I feel like his ability to score in the paint and his defense have been his to greatest weeknesses, but obviously today he showed that he is capable of defending and scoring in the paint.  Id still like to see him become better at posting up and taking people off the dribble instead of just catching lob passes but this is definately a good start for him.
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

I would like to see the sale of this shirt publicly as well, having the proceeds go to Andre's favorite charity.

LaMarcus is a classy guy, period. in the midst of everything else going on, highlighting and commemorating Andre's streak was a highlight of the past week for us.

LA has been impressive this whole season, but unfortunately his accomplishments have been overshadowed by all the injuries. It is nice to see that he is getting credit for his hard work! Go LA!

La truley does amaze me, every time he plays he gets better, physically and mentally, despite his heart condition he plays with the most heart for this team.
He has seen all the BS go down around here, and he just sits back like a reserved man and does what his job is, and thats to play basketball.
And he does an AMAZING job at that. He almost averaged a double dub last season and i would not be surprised if he gets more than that this year. The only way to make this guy any more lethal is his passing ability, and for us to put some more faith in him and play him like he is our big center, run the offense through him.
You want players of the other team to know that "hey they are going to give the ball to LA when they are not running." and this guy will then have the ability to break his man down, drive in and draw a 2nd defender and then pass it out.

When Portland slows down the offense, playing through Aldridge in the post would help the offense a lot.

He rarely visits the post, but that is because of Portland's plays being created around getting him easy jump shots. He has a good game in the post and could play with his back to the basket.

Once he solidifies himself as a threat when he visits the post, defense will start to collapse on him. Aldridge is a good enough passer to be able to find the open man that has been left to double-team him.

With Portland's shooters in Roy, Batum, Matthews, and Fernandez, they will make the defense pay for double-teaming.

If they decide not to, Aldridge should be able to work them in the post due to his height, added strength (20 pounds of muscle added on in the summer), and refined post moves

Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.
