Amare is tearing it up this season. He is playing big in the middle and seeks to dominate his defender on every possession. We saw L.A. in the Dallas game do the same.
Can L.A. do the same for our team if he played similar to Amare?
    What is holding him back?
Is it the offensive schemes or is it him?
It just seems to me that L.A. is a better all around player than Amare, but why doesn't he prove it?
    Any suggestions?

Well he was the 2nd overall pick so i can see how is is so good offensively but the last few yrs Roy was the more offensive minded player so he became the goto guy. With him not ever going to be what he was L.A has the best opportunity of his career to become a franchise player. He needs to step up and be our offense. take it in the post more than he dose and still shoot those jumpers he's so good at. GO BLAZERS! 10 11 Champs

Stoudamire was the first player in the NBA to win Rookie of the Year , fresh outta high school not to mention  he beat out Ming and Butler for it.
this guy has a dominant presence in the NBA and he is hear to stay. The biggest difference in Alrdidge and Stoudamire, is Confidence.
Amare has been able to take his game to the next level, he knew it when he won that award.
While you and i both know Kenny, that the most common words used in the same sentence as Aldridge are " Lots of Potential and, Just not ready."
L.A. cant take his game to that next level, i dont know why, one major difference in the two is Aldridge is game consists of Shooting, he started off that way and it really has stuck with him, Stoudamire is a Pound it to the basket and DUNK it in yourr face guy. He only developed a mid range jumper recently in the past 2 seasons, and still its nothing perfect (nice 3 though. :D)
Aldridge has the ability to become the same type of player, he may need to bulk up a bit more, but he has great size, long arms, and hes got decent speed, but once his confidence reaches the next level, his game will and thats why this team cannot afford to lose him.

Nah uhhh a defensive center, a backup big either position I don''t care, an experienced wing, without having to give up any draft picks. I''d probably do this but I just don''t know for sure.

I completely agree he could be that voice on the court we need. Lamarcus just isn''t that guy and Damian can learn some on court leadership from him. A small lineup when we need a score bad of Dame, Wes, Paul, Nic, and Lamarcus would be potent.

I mean Damian might have not even been in the same area as them when it happened. Innocent until proven guilty

I would agree Harris seems more dynamic but Harkless looks pretty good as well.
