What's a reasonable trade scenario? Bring back Bayless somehow!

    Obviously, there are a lot of things wrong with the team right now.  The Blazers set the example last year for fighting through adversity and injuries and cleared the roadblocks in hiking boots.  Now all of a sudden, we are clinging to the 8th spot in the west below .500?!  We need something new I think.  I love all of our players for what they can bring but in all honesty, they aren't.  The only ones doing anything lately is Marcus Camby and Wesley Matthews.  The way Roy is playing lately, I would almost send him to the bench to put Nicolas Batum back in the starting line up.  A lot of games we played at the end of the year were without Roy in the line up.  

    Personally if we were going to trade for someone, I would fix the first mistake we made and bring Bayless back to Portland.  Give Toronto Armon and Dante.  Like I said, I love em both, but Bayless was our spark off the bench and our answer in a lot of crazy scenarios.  We need someone to attack the basket, Bayless was our man.  

    What do you think?

    I think before we start the whole trade talk we need to mess around with the line up. If we go to trades it needs to be to bring in someone who can lead the team unless we plan to go through WM. Roy will be here and we will wait quietly for the games he acts like the superstar he was but idk if he can still be the guy who wins us ball games. We're stuck with Roy for the next 5 yrs whether he does a complete 360 and plays all star level or he just continues on his spiral down.

    Bayless had 17 and 9 last night, preluded by a 31, 7, and 5 effort.

    That's almost as many stats as the entire Blazer team combined against Memphis

    Bayless plays his tail off.  He was traded to make room for AJ if I remember correctly. But it's a good thing Pattycakes gets the minutes now, it sure has helped the team........

    AJ has more technicals the 3 pointers this season.
    Bayless was moved because the current Blazer team was sick of the kid throwing the beatdown on them in practice. The term "Hey, take it easy" doesn't apply to Jerryd Bayless.

    Ahh getting Bayless back would make my girlfriend very happy haha. Can't say I don't miss the guy, but I'd rather look at other options first before basically trade 2 players for a potentially non-lottery 1st round pick from NO.

    I'm not a fan of a trade for Bayless...Simply because it would make the front office look like complete morons.
