Yes, I know it's early in the season but it's always nice to see the Blazers taking a high seed in the Western Conference, and with the West being so close in recent years, and likely again this year, it's always nice to watch.

I'll try to update this thread every night if I remember about it and if it is actually used.

Right now, the Western Conference looks like this...

    1 - San Antonio 19-3
    2 - Dallas 19 - 4
    3 - L.A. Lakers  16-7
    4. Utah  17-8
    5. Oklahoma City 16-8
    6. Denver 14-9
    7. New Orleans 14-9
    8. Portland 12-11
    9. Phoenix 11-12

Denver and NOH already lost this morning, their records are updated.

If Portland is to win today, against the Spurs, they will remain 8th.  If they lose, they will remain 8th.

For now, let's watch New Orleans and Denver, as they are tied 6th and 7th seed, and of course the next teams in our way.

    New Orleans @ Miami
    Sacromento vs New Orleans
    Utah vs New Orleans

    Personal Prediction: 1-2

    Orlando vs Denver
    San Antonio vs Denver
    Minnesota vs Denver

    Pesronal Prediction 1-2

    Portland's upcoming schedule

    Portland @ San Antonio
    Portland @ Memphis
    Portland @ Dallas

    Personal Prediction 2-1

(I may be biased, but I really think the Blazers have better chances to pull off 3-0 than 2-1, but I'm not too confident about Memphis for some reason.  They want that game badly).

Since Phoenix trails right behind us, lets look at their next 3 games.

    Minnesota @ Phoenix
    Phoenix @ Dallas
    Phoenix @ OKC

    Personal prediction: 1- 2

    Assuming my predictions come true...

    6. New Orleans 15-11
    7. Denver 15-11
    8. Portland 14-12
    9. Phoenix 12-14

Jermaine O''Neal, Drazen, Z-Bo, Sheed (I know he was already a star but still). Also Drazen was buried under Drexler and Porter.

EZ, are you kidding me? You essentially want to trade LMA for Noel, or worse, DEANDRE JORDAN?

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
