    Portland couldn't have asked for a more difficult start to a 4-game road trip. Not only is it the 2nd half of a back-to-back, but with the late TNT start last night, the Blazers probably got into Phoenix around 3-4 AM. Phoenix is reeling a bit after giving away a game late at home against Memphis, but they have our number in that arena.

    For Portland to come out on top, we need to do exactly what we did against Orlando, attack the paint. The Trail Blazers racked up 50 points in the paint last night and that was against Dwight Howard. Phoenix has nothing that resembles D12, so it should be easier to score inside if the Blazers make it a priority. Also, stop fast breaks points. We held PHX to 2 last Tuesday and shut out Orlando last night. Keep up the transition D and the wins will continue to pile up.

    Let AJ slow down Nash again, and don't brow beat him the first time Nash gets by. AJ is NOT the only Blazer Nash gets by.  Dre can't play minutes like last night all season.

    Yeah, I think you guys said it. Whatever worked in that recent game (and it obviously worked) should be repeated. Of course, as it is with playing the same team pretty close together, I'm sure they will have a better game plan in terms of facing us and correcting their mistakes. As you said D, we don't have a good record in that arena. I think just be aggressive and as Kim says, attack! I think if we get in there and play tough, hopefully the calls will be favorable and will set a trend for the night - that we are the aggressors (I think Nate says that from time to time, that we have to be the instigators, act like we really want the game) and not the Suns. That can be tough being the visiting team, but if we show that enough and it is reflected on the scoreboard, maybe the crowd won't be as into it; of course, that is conditional on that we do slow down Nash somewhat. He can get hot from the outside too, so gotta watch out on the perimeter as well.

    Patty and Armon shut down Dragic. Quick feet on defense, Suns like to slash acroos the paint and cross court pass to open wing shooters.

    Key's to game:

    - Turnovers >  Hands up on D, disrupt passing lanes, get some steals.

    - Rebounds > Suns let them fly, watch for the long rebounds off deep shots.

    - Fast Break pts > Counter attack the Suns break off missed shots, keep them on their heels, wear them out on the offensive end of the floor.

    Not the prettiest 4th quarter by either team, but considering the circumstances i'll take the win. See if we can steal one in S.A.

    I thought Brandon looked more like Brandon tonight. He was driving, getting fouled and then hit the dagger.
    Camby was a beast! And I admit I didn't like putting Wes in the starting lineup over Batum but he is definitely producing and I feel bad for Batum but he just isn't. I'm not writing Batum off and I hope he can snap out of it but Wes is bringing the energy every night. Lamarcus did a good job mixing it up again.
    I am a fan of comcast and the blazers making deals that keep screwing us over!! woot!
