so i couldnt help but notice the replay of the miller-cheater conflict on FSN showed what (mod edit-dhawes22) did to deserve his pwnage but on ESPN they had their violins going as they watched their poor rookie of the year get put in his place by a guy twice his age and half his size. then i watch top 10 and they through a bunch of lame plays and no stacks to rudy no looker.

    just an observation.

Didn't get to see the top 10 on espn tonight... but were the plays really that lame? Or, put yourself in the other fan's shoes, then were those plays actually better than the one for us? If no, then yeah thats weak. But hey, I think ESPN actually does a great job showing the actual top plays

there was a similar college play of the mills to rudy play but no no look pass from mills so it wasn't better. at least mills made assist of the day on nba.com its rare we get respect there.

That play was #2 on NBA.com's Top 10 by the way. Yeah, what is up with ESPN? Sheesh.

Yeah ESPN must be bias against poor sportsman ship, wonder what that says for this fan base if they think something like this should go unpunished.

I saw it on youtube, here, where it shows griffins pushes, sure they arnt called, but they are also not a big deal, not worth breaking a streak like that, how selfish.

Did you notice on TNT when they introduced the game they said "Dwight Howard and the Magic meet the Blazers". I thought it was a slap in Brandon's or at least Dre's face.

i think that if portland was in the "winning" position the fans could complain.
But portland doesnt do anything except, THE SAME THING EVERYGAME!!!!!!
They most recognized player is Oden, and its only because of how big a bust he is becoming.
Portland isnt in the position to complain, make it past the second round and earn the respect, like most everyone else.

it seems the networks -- whether it be espn, tnt or nbc -- pick their one team on which to focus for each game they broadcast, and usually it's not the blazers. call it large-market favoritism, highlighting a superstar or west coast bias (certainly the case in college football). these network broadcast crews choose their team and approach their coverated from that angle. it's probably similar to how announcers from one team approach a game involving their own team. the difference is the national stage where you might expect enevenly reported and broadcast game. unfortunately, that's just not the case when you get to the national networks.

I think Tay is right in this case. Why do Blazer fans complain about not getting enough respect? We haven't won anything since 2000.  Once we win a playoff series, everyone will start giving us the respect we feel we deserve.  And also, in the Orlando game, all the announcers did was bash on Orlando, was anyone actually paying attention to that

    haha, thank you.....
i have noticed that before, in some laker games, with the horible announcers, the 2 boring guys, they bash sometimes on kobe especially.
its kinda nice, shows their not full of themselves....even though some announcers are........Reggie miller coughh*****
