No problem with Roy @ 27 points last night, Rudy 3 and hurt! You can't be serious in your criticism of Roy, He is a great person and a great player. I like Rudy for what he does, but it's like comparing apples to oranges. They are just different players and fulfill different roles. I would agree with you that Rudy needs more P.T. if that's what your saying. I think he is a rhythm guy and needs to feel the game for more than Nate is allowing him to feel it. But Rudy over Roy - never going to happen!!!!!

kenny c. thanks I want to write almost the same, both Roy and Rudy is needed by team, ROY is a star and Rudy is good player who should play more minutes from bench.

    GO BLAZERS !!!

arnielquimpan: you can throw out as many "pro-Rudy" threads you like, we're not going to start Rudy over Brandon. hell, we didn't even start Rudy over Wesley when Brandon was out. get over it.

besides, Brandon played well last night; he hit some jumpers and didn't look rusty when he drove inside, which he did several times. Rudy just doesn't have the ba**s to play a consistently solid game. in fact, after last night's groin injury, he may not have any ba**s left at all!

Something wrong, when Roy is playing  we lost.................I don't know pro Roy.... How long are you going to realize the reality? or may be, you will never see any NBA trophy coming to Portland in your Roy's time in Blazers uniform.

i am with everyone on this one  i love rudy he is a good player fun to watch and it is like comparing apples to oranges with those two players. two totally different ball players.  we need both of them.  lol kass on your comments...i thought it was  pelvic contusion which is not the groin...pelvis is hips...i hope rudy will be ok.  i bruised my sacrum almost a year ago falling out of an suv trying to close a door and landed straight on my butt on asphault...i walked funny for a couple of weeks lol  im ok now...but anyhow here is hoping to a successful road trip and hoping that nate will use both to their capabilities.  i know you want to see rudy play, when he is in his rythm and can play his game he is a monster.  just not sure if roy is the starter where this leads...rudy plays a good role for this team and is needed.  we are deep in guards and that is the issue...

when roy was out wesley did start over rudy  i think rudy is used to coming in as a second unit.  here is to hoping that roy stays at shooting guard and does not play pg...the nice thing about rudy he can do both  i agree with others he needs to stay in his rythm and not sure if longer playing time puts him there or not.  i know sports is a lot of mental.  if your mind is not in the game it is hard to play right.  i know that being into fitness...
as i said  I love rudy but he is not roy two totally different guards.  apples to oranges is right. i happen to like both kinds of fruits so how do you say one is bad over the other they are not bad.  both have their vaule and place just two differnt kinds of fruits that have their purpose lol  sorry the guys are not fruits...just saying that as an example
have a good rest of holiday weekend everyone here is to a win in jersey!

hey Teresa! last i'd heard it was a groin injury and that was from pdxtrailblazers on twitter. oh well, the groin injury makes my joke funnier!

idealist: my ideal situation is that when i read a comment, it makes sense; i can't figure out what you're saying.

Rudy did start a few times last year with Roy out. Problem was he couldn't match up with the opponents starting SG where Roy was able to do so when he was healthy. The fact that Matthews started in place of Roy this year tells me that Rudy is not NBA starting material.

if we land in top 5, we can trade that pick for henson, but trade future 1st round pick, and 2 2nd round pick for kings pick

if we get no.1 pick, i would trade that pick for omer asik and that all. the rockets would probably use that pick for a trade with the lakers since lakers need to get younger
