    When play offs are here and blazers probably having 8th or 7th seed. Who would you want them to play against? Maybe it can be lakers or New Orleans, i'm hoping its one of them. I believe the blazers can take on one of them and hopefully this year we can finally get out from the 1st round and who knows how the story builds up them. Round 2 we could take on OKC I think we can beat and dam WC finals=) would be super! after all we got a good shot i think, this season should be a surprising one for blazers. Lot of us think we are sinking like a Titanic but i think it should be a great year and going deep in play offs=)

    Dallas or SA preferrably.  I still have Dallas pegged as #3 in the west tho SA is making a push but will end 2 or 4

    first of all, it is WAY too early to say that the blazers will PROBABLY have 7th or 8th seed. way to be pessimistic. that doesnt fly with me.

    It's giving us a playoff berth Cristi.  According to the playoff predictor on ESPN.com its right around where we are expected to land as of now so its not truly pessimism

    Actually the way we have been playing I'd say we end up at the 8th. Unless we make a move or Brandon quickly returns to his dominance.
    I am a fan of comcast and the blazers making deals that keep screwing us over!! woot!

    A blessing in disguise could be these early injuries. My hopes are that while the N.O.'s and Santonio's are playing good ball, as well as Utah and OKC, we have an opportunity to weather the storm. If we can remain an above .500 squad in January, we have a realistic chance of being contenders for a 4 0r 5 spot. I too like our chances against L.A., but i think we would do better by being matched up against a Utah or OKC. A team that would test us early and often. Only that would get the Blazers emotionally ready to confront Championship contenders like S.A. and L.A..

    Anyone but the Lakers..I don't think my heart can take another playoff defeat at the hands of that franchise..too much history and not enough time has passed.

    As long as they aren't against OKC or Utah, they'll be fine against any team in the Western conference

    I want Dallas.  We matchup against them well (Batum is notorious for shutting down Dork Noringzki) and they are notorious for choking in the playoffs.

    The way San Antonio is playing, they're winning the title.  No way would I want them.
    Hornets are playing with a lot of energy, but if we match that energy (even on Friday) we could dispose of them quickly.  Same with OKC.   We could sweep OKC.

    Denver can beat us on our home court, but we can't beat them on theirs.  If we can win at least ONE game in Denver this season, I'll have some confidence, but any game in Utah or Denver I instantly consider a L.  I do not want any of these teams.

    I'd welcome the Lakers...but only in the 2nd round or WCF.  No way, even if we're the better team, would the NBA allow the Lakers to make a first round exit.  They make the most money for the league, and MUCH more than Portland does.  I'm not a man of conspiracies of the refs hating Portland, but keep dreaming if you think that'd be a fair series.

    So, for a first round, I'd want (in order) New Orleans, OKC, Dallas, San Antonio, Denver, Lakers, Utah.

    I would love to fave the Clippers in the first round.  That would be awesome.

    With a 2-13 start, we have better chances of going against the Heat in the first round than the Clippers at this point.

    The Lakers have alot of trouble with our team, or have in the past, idk about playoffs, but regular season 08, i think the lakers lost all the meetings.

    Fallen said SA or Dallas, i would pick one of them, those Texas teams are tough though, and they have pretty decent fan bases, however Dirk is not playing at his maximum, and Taj gibson worked him like a dawg the other day. So i will take Aldridge on Dirk this season for sure, and say we take that game.
    Encourage Nate to step it up a little, no ALOT. He should be busy with Butler, but it is WAAAAYYYY to Early to be talking about playoffs, and this team will be lucky if their the 12th seed in the west with the way their playing.
