I used to view Greg Oden as a canvas upon which all other pieces were painted. This team may have been Brandon's the last few years, but it was built around Oden. Without Oden, many of the pieces just don't seem to mesh. For example, LaMarcus is the perfect compliment to Greg Oden. However, without Greg Oden in the mix, LaMarcus struggles to fill GO's shoes and is forced to play out of his comfort zone. Lets face it, at this point in his career LA is a stretch 4 - not a post up power forward. If Greg were healthy there's no telling where we would be right now. Unfortunately he's not. If there were ever a time to temper our expectations that time is now. Today, we must face the reality that GO is no longer the key cog we envisioned him to be. I still think we should try to sign him for next year, but we need to look at him as a piece to the trailblazer puzzle. With that said, I have a few questions: Can anyone think a trade that might make the team more cohesive? Do you think we should keep GO? If we let Greg walk do we keep LaMarcus or do we seek out a power forward who can bang in the post? Can we win in the playoffs without a post player like Oden? Any thoughts?

LaMarcus' post game has improved greatly this year comparing to the other years. Thankfully he's finally doing it, but still he's not yet at the level where he's a dominant post player. As far as how the team is built,  we are in a transition process now. Like you stated this team was built around Greg Oden. With that said it needs to start being built more around Brandon's strengths.

What this team needs is a better bench. Rudy does not fit this team at all anymore, something has to be done with him, but also his 3 pt shooting ability is much needed on our team because we are not a great shooting team this year, but are an effective 15 feet and in team.

I think most teenagers know a little bit about wrist injuries, and if you want to use, a little pain is not going to stop you. I understand he was using it on a constant basis, but it was not 24/7, he was not doing knuckle pushups (Shout out, Kevi...

Yeah I was one of them *blushes*. I was never a diehard fan of basketball until the 2011-2012 postseason. I could name every team, but I always forgot two. Kings and Blazers.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
