    I believe January 23rd is the voting deadline.
    Log on every day and vote.
    Make sure to log on to Nba.com and vote for LaMarcus Aldridge, Brandon Roy, Andre Miller, & Marcus Camby.
    And don't forget to add Nicolas Batum as an option!

    Lets get some more Blazers involved in the All-Star game!

    So I take it you have no idea what's going on with the Blazers?

    We have no all-stars and the last thing we need is a pointless game for Roy to play and risk LA getting injured in a pointless game.

    i was told by TomL that the all stars are chosen by the Coaches and or Players..

    But tiki i have to disagree with you, Aldridge needs this allstar game, for himself, so he knows that he is recognized and to feel better about his game, that confidence boost might help in the long run.

    To look at it and say " why risk him getting injured" thats just being to cautious, and if that becomes the case then maybe they shouldnt even drive to practice, just live at the rose garden in case of a traffic accident (godforbid)
    OR even carry their bags up to their rooms and place them in the closets, we dont want a Boozer incident.

    Every Blazer player has 2 personal body guards and Roy has 3. 1 to give him a piggy back ride to relieve stress off his knees and 2 to look professional, lol.

    Yea LaMacus needs this all star invite to take his game to the next level confidence wise us feeding him the ball shows we dont have a goto scorer and he is counted on to score but an All Star invite would boost him up,  personally idk why he didnt stay with team usa and go oversees and help win that gold medal all the rest of the team USA crew has been lighting up the league this year the expierience of learning Coach K style defense and intensity and just playing with the best the world has to offer would have done wonders

    fans vote for the starters, thats what the all star ballots are for. then the coaches vote for the reserves.

    i will be voting not sure about roy with his knee situation...yes we vote  the coaches etc vote for the second string etc...i plan on voting and I will add nicolas batum i think he is deserving. would love to see some blazers represented.  lol on the injury thing.  good point  they could get in any calamtous situation...you could walk out your front door and get hit by a car heaven forbid or get in a car accident ont he way to the rose garden.  yep lets all stay home and never leave our homes...that is silly.  injuries are par for the course in sports and unfortantely it is happening more in the nba as the game is more physical then ever before.  i agree this all star game would boost la's confidence and it would be great.  not sure why la passed on the team usa but that is ok he is doing well.  leave him be.
    anyhow im planning on voting

    No one on the Blazers deserves to be an all star so far this year.  Our entire starting unit is close but I dont think that even roy deserves a spot on the team this year since he has not shot a high percentage, his assists are down and his scoring is way down. 
    I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

    Thank you for bringing credibility to this thread.  I will be writing in Matthews, as I think he will be performing at an all-star caliber level between now and January.  Realistically speaking, I don't believe he has a shot at starting, but believe he IS well respected around the league among coaches...as is Nic

    Matthews has been playing for only 2 years. He hasnt done anything to become noticed, has he?
    I mean Nic i can totally understand, the dude has been on a couple Top 10 plays, and going home to play for FRA in Fiba, i get that.
    But matthews is a 2nd year guy, who was dropped by the Jazz after his rook seas, he comes to Por, doesnt play well, i mean the biggest thing he has done was 10 boards the other day.
    i dont think that he is at all ready to be an all star.
    If there is anyone on this team that deserves to go, it would be Aldridge, and Roy, but with his knee, i doubt it.
