ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Memphis Grizzlies were so disappointed in their play Monday night they called a players-only meeting in the locker room after the game to discuss the damage.

Interesting read. Looks like the Grizz are going to be ready to play tonight. We're going to have to come out playing smart...

    Thoughts?

Ball movement and rebounds and we can walk away 7-5 from this game we need to move the ball and move without the ball.

Great point. I love watching movement out there. Opens up so many opportunities.

the only thing dumber than a player's only meeting is letting it go public that you are calling/holding player only meetings. Playoff calibre teams don't have to call meetings to place a chip on their shoulders, only wildcard teams that may or may not show up on a nightly basis do. Funny that Z-bo was involved in this considering he had one of the poorer fg percentages last night, glad we haven't had to deal with lots of those kind of performances with this core of guys, although we are starting to slip back into that kind of team now that Roy is visibly struggling to find the next evolution of his game, he's 26 but he's going to have to start playing like a 29+ player due to those knees, more jumpshots and the like.

These things are nice but WE NEED TO PLAY SOME D!! We can't rely solely on movement and rebounds, we need to stop them from scoring, ie stop them from scoring as many points as us, ie we need to score more points than them! ha ha

Their player's only meeting looked like it helped, but it wasn't enough to stop the craftiness that is Andre Miller.

I missed the game, but I will download it soon and I saw the highlights. It seems when Andre has to focus on offense at the beginning of the games we lose (because no one else is), but if he takes over in the fourth we win. If only Brandon can come back to his old healthy self we would be a great clutch team. Nice to see Matthews not being shy too. Sounds like I missed a good game.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
