After the lack-luster performance in LA its time to get some confidence back.

We're taking on the Pistons tomorrow at the RG. We've had some rest and some practice. Let's go out there and get Detroit!

    My keys to the game:
    Rebounds, as usual
Points in the paint, I've been preaching this for a while now...

    What are your keys?

    Keys-
Limit Roy and Aldridge's minutes significantly. Rice said only Gay has played more minutes this year. Brandon is coming off another surgery and I think we need to ease him into those minutes. Therefore my next key is--

Bench points. Armon, Dante, Rudy, Luke, and Wesley need to bring it on both ends of the floor, play team basketball, and find the open man at the rim.

Energy--It can be hard to get up for a team like the Pistons, esp after getting beat down the game before, but the crowd needs to be alive and the players need to come out rejuvenated, because losses to teams like the Pistons rear their ugly head come April when playoff seeding is so tight.

Playing as a group like winning is important.  Period.  The talent is there.  The motivation is not.

My key: Sean Marks. He needs to have a 20 point game, or this win will not happen.

    My keys to the game

    -Transition "D"
This is something I've brought up quite a lot, and it's something that I'm sticking with.  I feel having good hustle in transition makes a big difference in points in the paint, and fast break opportunities - both of which can make a big difference on the scoreboard too.

    - Aggression
The guys seem to be settling for medium-to-outside jumpers, when they should balance it out and take more aggression to the rim in attempts to draw fouls and get to the line more.  Fight for rebounds, box out, and when the situation comes up, take a charge and put a body on them (but don't commit to flopping)

    -Youth
Armon, Babbitt, Dante, and Wesley all seem to get the team on a roll, and they always bring their energy to the court.  The other guys need to feed off this energy, and they'll start building more confidence, and that energy will then expand throughout the RG

    Those are my keys
I am a fan of Cambus taking a team to the finals after another lockout.

Rest for the starters, again our bench should beat the Pistons, if everyone shows up.

The Pistons are a dysfunctional group at the moment. Jump on them early and they will cave. Let htier loiter around like a 13 year old at the mall and eventually they will gain confidence and play us tough until the bitter end. I'm still waiting for Babbitt's breakout game. With Roy wanting less minutes and just overall team depth down right now, I really want to see how Luke handles some meaningful minutes his rookie year. We dealt Telly for him so I want to see Babbitt progress.

I dont understand how Tmac ended up on this team, and Ben Gordon too?
Horrible place for them, waste of talent

Wesley Matthews SHUT DOWN Gordon last night. Every time BG went for his patented pump fake, Wes never bit and was up in his face all game long. I really liked what I saw out of Aldridge. He had smaller, weaker defenders on him and he was relentless in attacking the basket. He would have had 40 had his shot been falling, but I'm not even worried, because he was taking great shots. The bench was fabulous again tonight, outhustling the Pistons even with a 20 point cushion. I think we need to find Dante more often of off the pick and pop, because the kid just doesn't miss and it was good to see Rudy back again, hitting threes and throwing lob passes to LA!

Nice Idea but I think the TWolves trade is very lobsided in our favor

Derrick Williams and Budinger are proven players in the league. Claver and Freeland are not

Hawes was playing nice this season and would be a good pick up imo ...

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
