Baron Davis a Trail Blazer Whaaaat ?

    It is now been said the Clippers are starting to think about shopping around Baron Davis. What do you all think of the possibility of a Baron Davis pg for the Blazers ?

    Bdawg.. It is okay if he has knee problems. We don't have any history of knee related injuries.

    he is a very talented player, more talented than miller but it seems like he doesnt have a good work ethic and settles for the jumper too much so i think id rather have dre.  Also he is getting kind of old, and if we are going to get a pg we should get a young one so that they can be our starting pg for more  than just 2 or 3 years.
    I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

    I'd much rather have Eric Bledsoe, Davis would come here not to play basketball, but to find extra work in Indy film-making if he can't find any more projects in L.A.

    One of the worst point guards i've ever seen...

    Did you NOT watch that last Clippers/Blazers game. He single handely lost them at least 15 points that I can remember.

    i dont think he's got much "explosive" juice left.  i mean he was an ankle breaker....... gotta love that.
    but if he has a knee problem, im sure the GM will STRONGLY consider aquiring him, on a count of his horrible judgment with past injuries.

    if Portland is going to talk to the clippers at all then it should be about Eric Bledsoe, but he is so damn good, thats the whole reason barons being shopped.

    With all due respect to Baron Davis if he were on our team he'd be a back-up to both Dre and The Hammer, he may even get beat out by Patty simply because he's not as quick as he used to be. No, I don't see him playing here, besides why would we really want him? Other than experience wise which we have in Dre. I do agree we need a more legitimate PG to lead the role but so far haven't heard of anything promising. GO BLAZERS!!!

    No definitely not, if we are gonna try and get a point guard we need a young point who knows how to lead. Do those two words make sense together sure.  The idea was that our trading Bayless was to get that trade exception and an extra pick that could help further a trade help us enter a 3 or 4 team trade to get a pg.  The word on the street is the Nets are the frontrunners for Melo and i believe they will give up Favors,Murphy, and T Will for him, if we add the sweetners to the deal with miller, the exception, and the pick then i think we should attempt to pry Damien James and Devin Harris from the Nets. We get  a point thats been an all star before, plays defense, can penetrate and kick, can penetrate and finish, but still cant shoot 3's. But he will be able to get down court and get the ball moving faster than miller and will make the defense get back on d by pushing the ball. I want to see us play Golden State with a Backbourt of Devin Harris, Armon Johnson, Roy, Aldrige, Camby.
