I understand it's just a temporary thing until the vanilla gorilla get back... but really? I didn't even know this guy was still in the league.. Hopefully he can snag some boards and play a little defense, don't really care about his offensive game.
I am a fan of having a completely healthy team for once.

Yeah, I agree...the only thing I can think of is he can chew up some fouls and give our big boys a couple extra minutes of rest, but as for offence it just makes US easier to defend. Don't like this much at all...

    peace out,

He's a band-aid til Joel comes back at the end of the month. If he can do what Oberto did for us. (give Camby a rest) I'm totally fine with it.

Exactly BR7_Fan.  Short, sweet, to the point...AND right on the money.  I might add, very cheap as well, and a non-guaranteed

Don't look at this move as a solution to any problems other than a big body in the middle while Camby takes a break. Camby was playing starters minutes, which he can still do however it does not leave him as fresh as he needs to be at the end of games. Sean will only get to remove the warm-ups for the next three weeks until Joel comes back into the rotation.. Good move, glad to see that we signed someone on a minimum vet's contract opposed to trading away something or paying more than necessary to take Anderson away from Cleveland.

The Blazers are a textbook basketball team with key positions and roles clearly defined.
We need a textbook PG that quarterbacks the offense (the offense changes considerably when Miller is not on the court), we need a textbook Center that rebounds and creates a defensive presence. (Oberto and Marks move: totally make sense)

A nice rotation of Marcus and Joel will add that stability in the front court this team hasen't seen since the 08-09 season.

Agreed with BR7, it is just for the sake of limiting Camby's minutes and I am glad he is cheap as well as temporary. Don't worry about his offense if he can snag a board or two until Pryz is back on the 26th that is all the Blazers need.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.
