Chris Hunter from the D-League.  Played for the Warriors last season and was not bad.  What is up with looking under a stone for a big man when you have D-League players that could fill the role.  If not, then why have the league. BDawg, what do you think? tonyspdx

I mean there are plenty of Big Men that are available as Free agents, and plenty to trade for,  Management just wants to have all their cookies and eat everyone else's.
I mean currently they are building a reputation that players are not going to find friendly, they signed that Stevenn Hill guy, and then they waive him. They have Pendergraph, gets injured, they waive him.
They Trade away a perfectly good combo guard, for a draft pick for next year, THE SEASON JUST STARTED, wtf?
No one is going to want to come here regardless of how nice the teams record is, as far as thinking ahead, its looking dark.
I am a fan of The Blazers ♂, the £-Train, and of course, The ¤ King. ™

The best thing about the D-League is that you dont have to trade anybody to get one of them. 95% of the players are free agents. Chris Hunter has a track record of producing in the big leagues when he gets the minutes.  All the guys that Blazers are looking at have a terrible record even when getting substantial minutes. Dwayne Jones's claim to fame in the D-Leage is he got alot of rebounds in a league that doesn't stress rebounding to its players.  Eric Boateng couldn't even play in college.  Earl Barron looked good in seven games for the terrible Knicks. Sean Marks is not a banger down low.  The NBA is starting to be like the "Good ol'e Boy" recycled player league afraid to add a young bench players.

Love the idea tonyspdx.  Attempting to acquire a quality big now would mean dipping into the PGOTF piggy bank.  I believe this teams long term need at the 1 HAS to take priority over a short term fix in the middle.  Oberto was a nice fit.
I am a fan of players that play with PASSION and PRIDE

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
