    Rough night in Rip City last night. The energy leading into the game was unreal. The RG was louder than ever before the lineups were even announced! Yao & Brooks had huge nights, the officiating was questionable early, Brandon & Greg were the only Blazers that showed up. Our Blazers looked like a young and intimidated team last night, but that won't happen again on Tuesday!     I agree they looked nervous and caught up in the whole play off atmosphere. The good thing is when they play like that they always come out next game with a big chip on their shoulders and play "the right way" as Nate likes to say. Looking forward to Tuesday's game and seeing some adjustments from these growing pains!

    I agree, last night was bad. Roy and Greg were the only ones with intensity. How did this happen? The players couldn't be more hiped up. 15,000 showing up at pioneer square for them. Tuesday is coming i hope that Nate has them watching all that tape.

    Next game will be the good for us !

    We'll win this one, Greg and Jo will break the chinese, LA will make a 80% FG, BROY will be the king and my Nico will contest all the shots !

    we definately wont play that bad again. we got all the jitters out and now we know everything NOT to do. the rockets wont shoot that well again, especially brooks. everyone who followed him at oregon knows how streaky of a shooter he is. and we wont shoot that poorly again. when was the last time we only had two scorers in double figures? we need to get LA going earlyyyy. if he makes some shots early he will be on all game. and we need to keep attacking the rim and try to get yao in foul trouble. even though the refs made it obvious they were not going to call him for 3 fouls in the first half. roy had success attacking the rim, i think we need to do that more in game 2 and if we do that successfully we will be able to kick out for some open threes that we didnt really get in game 1. rip city!

    Next game (Tues) will be better- they always come back with a strong performance after a not so good one. And I agree Houston can't keep shooting that well all series! I expect LA to have a big game tomorrow!

    We can all look forward to the Blazers being ready for game 2. Even the announcers were saying it just took time for them to "wake up' to the playoff atmosphere.

    Good news is..

    If the Blazers d held the Nuggets Offense to under 90 points. (may i add that the nuggets have the #1 rated bench, and they made J.R. Smith human again) They can definitely hold Houston down.

    Houston just had "one of those nights" and the Blazers just had "one of those nights." but i have a feeling that wont happen again.

    ~I feel like a blasphemer. A Blazers fan in Texas, Rooting against the Rockets. LOL
    I am a fan of go ahead and close off the paint, we'll still destroy you from the perimeter.

    Nah, you aren't a blasphemer because LA is from Texas. Now, Wenlin, she's from China and is rooting against Yao. Isn't that like a crime against the government there?
