Has anyone else wondered why Armon Johnson has gotten way more playing time than Luke Babbitt? I Live in Nevada so I know that when they played college ball Babbitt was the stud of the team. So why does Johnson get all the playing time. I'm definetily not question Johnsons skills because I think he is doing amazing, but if he is doing this good what would Luke be able to do if he got in?
I think i know the reason but I want to here if anyone has any other info or knows more about the reason. I just think its because of their positions... Armon only really has Miller in front of him since we traded Bayless, so he gets in sooner. Luke has Roy, Batum, Fernandez, Matthews, and pretty much the rest of the team, so he doesn't ever really get in. Let me know what you think...

Babbit was the stud on offense at Nevada but he had trouble defending even at the collegiate level, so that may be one reason for him getting less playing time.  Also he did not do to well in the preseason and summer league so that could have also contributed to his playing time so far.  And like you mentioned we have 4 or 5 people in front of him at shooting gaurd and small forward so there isnt really any time where the blazers feel they should use him.  Same with elliot williams
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

I believe the reason he doesnt get playing time is due to his lack of defensive mobility at the 3.  I think we have a plan tho to beef him up by like 20lbs or more and make him like Dante Cunningham how he is a hybrid 3/4 depending on situation and what we need.  Luke with the added weight can come in at the 3 and post up, once he gets into a rythym in game he can face up in the post or play with his back to the basket, he can be like kyle korver and come off screens and light up teams that are ball watching or doubling Roy or Aldridge  just my thought but i believe this will be how he will be utilized

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
