    I'm truly missing the energy that Jeff brought to the team.

    The pre-game hype circle won't be the same without him, but I'm loving his enthusiasm facing adversity. He's been on Talkin' Ball 3 times now and hasn't been without a smile and great attitude and he's still using the "we" in his tweets!

    Here's to wishing Jeff a successful recovery and hoping he stays active in the Trail Blazers/Portland community!

    I don't see him having a career after he recovers..... He wasn't even good... This is his 2nd injury.... Yeah he can scream in the middle of a huddle but is it really worth millions of dollars ?

    I see where you're coming from Tiki. In this instance I'm looking at Jeff from a personality perspective, not a basketball one.

    there should be a 'player energy' stat for fantasy games :D

    Jeff was poised to have a breakout season before his season ending injury. I think both him and DC were going to be the backbone of that second unit and bring that energy and scrap Nate loves. (Jeff, DC, Wes, Armon, and Rudy all scrap, hustle, and energy players that play solid defense) 

    Labeling him as just a "hype" guy is selling him short in my opinion.

    I miss Jeff too, ripcitysarah. He brought energy to the team and was a decent rebounder and "muscle man" for our team. They only waived him to make room for Oberto temporarily. We will bring him back next season I hope.
    I am a fan of having a completely healthy team for once.

    I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
