Oberto Stats v Bucks

    For those of you who read my game by game predictions, I had Oberto scoring 25 points yesterday. That did not happen because Nate does not know talent when it bits him in the behind. With that being said. Oberto's stats looked like this

    Oberto: FGA - 0  - REB - 1 - MIN: 4

    I'm very surprised we won this game with Oberto not really contributing.

    I also feel Oberto could be a contender for league MVP if he were to get some minutes.

    Thoughts? Ideas?

    Ok I don't know if this is supposed to be a joke or not.......There is a reason he's not playing much and that's because he's not good enough to crack the rotation...

    what? oberto? Are you okay? he is a good role player but he is not that type of a bigman who can produce that much. I think he is just there to fill up the role of the two bigs (oden and przybilla) that are injured. dante cunningham could be that guy that you can rely to get that 25 points not oberto.

    Alright enough already Tiki. I thought your first post was a joke, apparently not. Oberto is a decent player that is why he is on the team. He also brings championship experience to the team which is a huge plus. With that being said he was only signed because Jeff went down. And really Nate doesn't know talent? Hmmm...seems to me his talent is exactly why he gets the respect he earned and therefor deserves around the league as both a coach and a player. Also was he not a coach on the USA gold metal team, or the recent FIBA Gold metal team? You must have to have talent to be able to be on that coaching staff. Just continue to be an honest fan and have a little more faith. GO BLAZERS!!!

    I think this is a joke. The irony is, if it is supposed to be a joke, it is very prosaic and therefore not funny, but if it is meant to be serious, then it is extremely funny.
    I am a fan of comcast and the blazers making deals that keep screwing us over!! woot!

    joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.
