    The Grizzlies just gave him a 5 year 40-45 million extension

    Why are teams just throwing ludicrous amounts of money at average players? He's making Rajon Rondo type money! Is he anywhere near the player Rondo is? Nope!  Anyway, I thought the deadline to extend players was by Halloween?

    There must be something in the CBA that will allow them to change their mind or something next year when they create the new one.

    Oh and the owners are losing lots of money and yet they are doing these ridiculous signings?
    I am a fan of comcast and the blazers making deals that keep screwing us over!! woot!

    In his defense the guy is playing hot to start the season, but I don't think throwing money at it will make the fire grow. If he can finish the year with 15/8 and almost 4 steals a game then maybe they made the right move but like D said: Rondo money and Conley isn't Rondo.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
