    Hey there Sarah, yes I read this earlier and left a comment on there, truly beautiful indeed.  Makes it so much more heart-breaking in a way . . . but like in true Luke fashion, being the man that he was, Maurice went with dignity from what Dr. Jack relates to us. Knowing some of these details now, my respect for him only increased.
