    We need to make an offer. He wants to play in the NBA again but feels no teams want him.

    THIS THREAD IS ABOUT GETTING IVERSON AS A BLAZER.

    At his age, and his depleted skill set, and on our team, what would he contribute?

    First, ALL 30 TEAMS already passed on him, and the reasons why are very clear. We do not need to make him an offer, that would be the stupidest thing we have ever done.
    Second he signed a contract with Turkey already!!
    So why would we want to be the only incompetent organization in the league to go after him AFTER he just signed a contract with someone else?

    This is the worst idea ever for us. Tiki must have been one of the fans who voted AI into the all star game last year.
    I am a fan of comcast and the blazers making deals that keep screwing us over!! woot!

    Um, no. I respect what he did during his "good days" loved what he did in Game 1 of the Finals vs. in 2001 (48 pts and a win) and would have loved it if they had beat the Lakers, but of course, we all know how that went. 

    Unfortunately, he has too much baggage and couldn't except a lesser role - it was nice to see him back on 76ers, but again, 3 games and done. I felt bad hearing about his personal problems, but I would rather see him get his life back together and of course, I wish him well in Turkey. He has his time in the league, but sadly but no surprisingly, it has passed. There are some great young guys that are going to be on the highlights reels for years to come.

    Again, on our team, NO. 
    I am a fan of Beating the Lakers on opening night, Lillard being the next big thing and this season being successful!
