Is it just me, or does it seem that everyone from Espn to NBA.com is writting off the Blazers.  We are a top the division yet no one is talking about how they underestimated the Blazers.  We have a amazing SG and a great PF.  The NBA.com fantasy people didn't even mention LA when they were talking about the top 10 PF in the NBA or even players to watch.  It just seems that everyone is disrespecting the Blazers or completely ignoring us.  I know Portland is a small market, but come on, we beat the Suns and the revamped Clippers.  Then we will dismantel the new look knicks and then go on Thursday to show why the Thunder aren't that great b/c they have no low post precense.

I am tired of turning on sports center and seeing it dominated by teams that have no chance of making the playoffs when we are cooking teams by double digits and hardly getting noticed.  I was just curious is it written in the stars somewhere that we are a write off this year?  I don't follow horoscopes to close but maybe someone can shed some light.

It's not just you. Even TNT is not mentioning the Blazers. They keep talking about the Jazz who are now 0-2 and the Thunder. We are contenders right now and we don't even have Pryz of Oden available. The national media is flat out ridiculous. Sports center always has Lebron and Kobe on now too. Even during games that they are televising without them in it, they still talk about them every chance they get.

I don't understand why the everyone is so high on the Thunder and Jazz I understand the Thunder have a great upside and they took the Lakers to six games but that doesn't make you a contender I mean every dog has it's day and the Lakers are known to underestimate their opponent somtimes and the Jazz on the other hand yes they have a great coach, PG and a good PF but they only beat the lakers three times in the last 3 years they face off in the playoffs.

Since we don't have a flashy superstar like everyone else we don't get the attention I look at Brandon like a silent assassin and the team always takes the personality of it's star and leader, but why should we care what the media thinks of us i don't want no bandwagon fans and media blowing smoke up our butts so let sportcenter have their LeBron's and Durant's i'll take Brandon any day of the week.

The national media is clueless to what is going on here in Portland, they are still judging everything based on Oden alone.   I think half of them read Blazer blogs before games just for clues, so they don't sound as bad as they are.......

Just keep winning and we will be noticed soon enough. Down here in Texas I have heard more about the Blazers this year than in the years past. People are beginning to see how good we really are. Also the Jazz look awful to me, so I'm not to worried about them having a big year. Depending on what happens with Mello I see the division breaking down as follows:
1.) Thunder - One of the top 3 players in the league with a great supporting cast. Tough young team.
2.) Blazers - Strong chance to win the divison...just please keep the injuries away. Interchangeable with Thunder for first in my eyes.
3.) Nuggets - With Mello their tough...without...their still okay.
5.) Jazz - Might compete for last with the T-Wolves
6.) T-Wolves - A few more rebuilding years needed here.

There were a ton of blazer fans at the clipper game the other day.
but why do you need espn to recognize your team, cant you just like them without the fame?

It's so bad that when Perndrgraph was injured there was a photo of him laying on the court grimacing with pain, with Armon looking over him on yahoo. In the caption stated it was Elliot Williams or someone other than Armon. And on another website it flat out said "unknown player." I was like "COME ON!"

the nba would like nothing more than for fans to acknowledge only the lakers and heat. that's where David Stern and the league think they can make big money; superstars and large markets.

Unless we get another solid bench player out of the deal, no way. Matthews is our best defender, our team leader, and our best three point shooter and clutch shooter. We don''t want to trade that away.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
