Was dead on about (as HG put it, ArmonHammer) I couldn't have been more impressed by his outlet passed from drives, his ability to finish at the rim, and how dang quick he is.  I mean really he went from the sideline to the top of the key in like 2 steps and .5 seconds!  I am quickly becoming a believer in that little guy, and he looks like a naturally nice happy go lucky kid.

I noticed a couple of times the Phoenix defender on Armon overplaying his left hand out high.  Was happy to see Armon recognize and take it hard right up the middle with his right.  Better luck next time with your preparation Gentry....ALVIN!!! :)

I agree.  He was one of the most immpresive Blazers today and I was very immpresed with his ability to get into the lane and score, and dish out assists.
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

That pass from under the hoop (I think to Rudy? help me out here) was sick if he is going to draw the defense in and shoot it out like that Batum, Wes, and Rudy could average 4-6 more PPG easily

Kim's not the only one. Others and I've liked Armon since summer camp. I don't want to get too excited thinking he will be starting any time this year, but defensive minded players always get my attention first before any thing. That's why I have loved Batum since we got him. I think Armon has proven to make better decisions with the ball than Bayless (in summer league and pre season and now one real game!), and I think that was another factor in letting Jerryd go to NO. He impressed me today because what I've seen him do without fear in telling players what to do on offense and where to go during the sl and ps he did tonight as well when it mattered. But it is only one game so if he is still doing this in two months when other teams start to take notice of him and have better game counters for him I will be real happy.

Did anyone else notice during the game when Mike Rice said he was our PGOTF?

I know Tom but Kim made a point to say it every other post lol averaging his name like 2.4 times per post (fake stats) lol and I agree he is taking lead you see him call a huddle after Oberto fouled a guy to prevent the basket?  Even better was the fact that Wes and Fabby were listening to him!

I know but I usually agree with Mike when he doesn't agree with what Nate is doing.
I still say that Nate needs to hire an offensive coordinator because our offense didn't seem like we have any plays whatsoever. Just get the ball and look around to see if someone is lucky to be open.

You were right about forgetting about CP3 and giving your rookie crush a chance. I thank you for that. :)

Claver will make a great squad player when he develops his outside shot. His size is an asset because he can guard SF and stretch 4s. If he can be a better rebounder and add a post move to his game we could be looking at a possible answer to our f...

Oden was definitely the best pick coming out of high school and arguably ahead of Durant in the 2007 draft. But the draft is art not science and we really needed a dominant center at the time. If we can get Oden for a short term low-risk deal. Lik...
