Andre Miller For Player Coach

    The elephant in the room:  we have an new coach.

    Starting this season led by the worker's comp leeches (Oden, Canby), and the drama queen
    with undramatic numbers (Fernandez), is bad enough.

    A better coach would have miller and roy smoothly defeating everyone, but this did not get done in the off-season and pre-season.

    Andre Miller for player coach, starting today.

    Worker's Comp leeches? Seriously? No, you're right, big men are invulnerable. They have the perfect bodies to play basketball. Good thing we ask so much of them so we can weed out all the losers. Namely EVERY BIG MAN IN THE LEAGUE save for a few, and those are now the superstar big men. "What about Bill Walton?" Yah, he was injury free as well. BS. He spent a grip of time on the bench and the one season he could play big he played HARD and won us a championship. Andre Miller is awesome, but is he a leader? No. If he was a leader then he would have been leading the team last year. If Big Mac is willing to let Matthews start leading because he's willing to then why didnt he let Miller? Oh thats right, Miller is a role-player. He's an amazing role-player now, but that's what he is. Roy and Matthews will be the leaders of this team. You have to want to be a leader, you don't wait for someone to hand it to you.
    I am a fan of getting the regular season started already!!! I need my fix!

    Yeah there is just no way in today's, society/world, that there would be another player/coach. It would never work, and the man who dares to enter that postion is opening the world of sports haters, to come in and criticize the team to death, you would have to be insane to player/coach these days.

    And besides the cool thing do is be a player, then become a coach later....

    Where did you learn to be such a hater?  Were you born a Lakers fan?  Perhaps you should try supporting our guys when they are hurting.
    Do you really think that our centers want to be hurt?  They want to play.  And Nate is a fine coach.  It obviously takes more than Roy and Miller to win a championship.  It's a team thing.  You need support from all of your pieces, and the Blazers are still getting there.

    My only grip against McMillan is how he coached the last play off game....he should have never put back in Roy and Miller when we were mounting a come back.

    Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.
