    It's official: Blazers have waived center Steven Hill and forward Raymond Sykes. Roster down to 16 players.
    I'm sad to see the Mountain Man go; it was a short stint. And while I liked Sykes, #25 is sacred..so that's that. Either we are signing Oberto or Joel will be back very soon or Hill just wasn't good enough to earn a roster spot. That means 15 guys, plus Patty. We all kind of expected the Patty decision to come down to the wire but what'll happen?

    if we send EW to D-league can we keep mills?

    No, I don't think so. He's under contract, so he counts as 1 of the 15 spots we have allocated for players.

    Well wasn't Hill hurt already? I thought I heard somewhere that's why he wasn't at the last game or two. Not the best idea to have someone for insurance if he's already hurt!

    What do any of you think Mills will contribute to this team ?  I don't understand the hoarding pgs theory when the team so obviously needs another big man for insurance....

    Hill has mostly been brought in the last couple of years to practice against Oden. Not surprised to see him waived,

    ^^ lets hope this is good sign, and Blazer brass knows something they are not telling the press. I like the idea, if we don't know, neither does the rest of the west.

    Probably not the exact same dialect as Rudy, and hopefully Rudy will be traded soon anyway.

    joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.
