    Welcome back Steven of Nazareth! I actually really like this move. Steven is a good, big body with a defensive mindset. If anything else, he's 6 fouls and another 7 foot player to throw at the opposition. He'll be a nice safety valve to have until the other two big men are ready to return.

    I like this move as well. I remember watching him at summer league and preseason last year or the year before? I was impressed with his defensive abilities.
    I am a fan of having a completely healthy team for once.

    Great opportunity. If he can impress, and shove people around for rebounds like Pendergraph, he might be able to nail down a full time job this season.

    seriously, i agree with you guys. he's a big body we can throw in there to absorb some fouls through the preseason (who knows beyond that).

    I would have preferred Ibekwe as well.  Any details on the signing?  Pulled up a couple of pieces on this acquisition, but neither disclosed LENGTH.  Assuming a 5-day?

    hahaha. He looks like Walton did, just hair with a little bit of face. His numbers aren't that impressive, but his height is what i like. Hopefully he's agressive, and hopefully he's healthy.

    Yeah what happened to Ibekwe? I liked him too. I can't remember if he signed with another team already for preseason or what.

    I think they preferred Hill over Ibekwe because they are looking to add more size. Before Pendergraph got injured, he was a backup CENTER. At 6'9", that's small. Idk if Hill can play at the 4.

    Sorry guys!   I meant "Assuming a 10-day" (contract), LOL!  It has obviously been too long since such a thing has had to be part of my vocabulary.  On a side note, I'm with Kass.  The beard is quite distracting!

    Was hoping for Steve to make it on the floor tonight. He could of pounded on Fesenko for a little bit.
    Totally dig the pick-up, hopefully he can do something with the opportunity.

    I hope the Blazers sign Mbenga instead.  Mbenga is'nt that good, but at least he is like 7'3 and is better than Hill.  Also Mbenga is more exciting than HIll since he is reasonably athletic and when he actually plays he gets either a monster block or dunk almost everytime he goes in.  He can't shoot at all but he is exciting and actually might not be that terrible if he is given playing time.  Also I like Dampier better than Hill or Mbenga and would love it if the blazers could sign him to a half year contract, but from what i've heard thats less likely to happen since he is wanting a full season contract with a player option for a second season.
