    I first of all want to start off by saying that I have no expertise in the field of strength conditioning, but with all the knee injuries we have on this team I think the question needs to be asked: is this a product of the quality of training the big guys are getting?

    Look Dwayne Wade also got injured it doesn't mean it's the staffs fault, he should have used his brain and not played.  Training their bodies doesn't make them invincible just a bit stronger.

    As for being cursed, come on doesn't NBA conspiracy sound more reasonable? I mean with the new rules it's not the players that determine the outcome it's the refs. Phoenix VS Portland during the playoffs? I think stern is controlling everything now, I can see OKC winning a Championship before Portland because stern now has his new money maker. Oh yeah almost forgot Dallas vs Portland the last time they played last season.

    Whatever it is, I wish it would stop, 40 years of injured bigs is enough  !!

    Amen Kim.  This has gotten beyond rediculous.  Portland has a difficult enough time luring free agents here.  Now there seems to be yet one more negative to Portland...especially for FA bigs.  Yes, it's getting THAT BAD.  Figure it out fellas.  Attend church as a team.  Don't break mirrors or walk under ladders.  Certainly, don't cross the paths of black cats.  Better yet...put in a call to the strength and conditioning folks down there in Phoenix, AZ.

    You know what was nice? When the Blazers made the move to get Marcus Camby.
    There are many talented big men out there, but you gotta pull some strings.
    Good centers usually don't fall from the sky and land in your lap. In the NBA, you gotta spend some bread.

    Who knows maybe we were cursed... I'll go ahead and start by blaming the Lakers, I say they put some curse on our team. They can't be losing to some small franchise team, so they try to ensure their wins by cursing us... Ya... That definitely makes sense... I'm gonna stick with this... hahaha

    Lol I know but if you're going to believe in curses then what I said doesn't sound as "made-up" as a curse. If I learned anything over the last few seasons it's that Trail Blazers will always do their best, curse or no curse. I think last season should have been a prime example of this, so when I hear people talking about curses it just sounds really dumb. The only time I will believe the so called curse is if Roy, Andre, Batum, Wes, and LaMarcus are all out for the season.
