All around the nation, in just about every sport, big name people are getting hurt, injured, but why?

Football Fans, the Jets Corner, Darell Revis, Pulled his hamstring in the game against the patriots, now it wasnt a big injury, but he missed the rest of the game, and i think was questionable on the next game.

So many people in baseball as well, K-Rod with his thumb, Justin Morneau, half of the white sox team practically.
And now its Dwade, and Pendergraph.
Now what i speculate on is, Are people getting hurt because the level of intensity of the game is being raised?

Or are these newly returning players, and older  veterans, not taking the proper percautions before the game?
Call it being cocky or confident or whatever you want.
But its really unnerving to see all these athletes dropping like flies.

I think they has always been injuries before and there will always continue to be more in the future. Just when it happens to our guys it feels like its snowballing, which it did last year.

As the season's grow longer, and careers last longer, the body goes gets worn down through attrition if not by season ending injuries. Which is why Depth and salary cap flexibility is so important in proffessional sports that have Salary caps. If there is one thing about this team that's for sure, it is that we are able to endure injuries with the best of them.

Thus we arrive at the mind. Mind over matter has become a phrase that slackers learned in passing by or near an intelligent conversation taking place. So has suck it up, and my personal favorite, if you take care of your body now, it will take care of you later. All that being said, the fact is, that none of that kind of wisdom comes until father time catches up with your athleticism and compells you to be more of a thinker. The Pendergraphs and Ben Wallace's enjoy the full contact, but havent that Rodman timing that it takes to be first to the rock, are yall feeling me? Im not surprised at all by Pendy getting injured. Thats his game. I love his energy, but i could tell it wasnt harnessed.

this wasnt in any way aimed at the blazers
my intention was for all sports.
i dont think i have ever seen so many players out for the season before, in baseball.

Week one of the NFL you had about 4-5 iinjured QB's, and a number of others.

    yeah i guess.
But some of the injuries that have happened around the country have not had the same circumstances.

I.E. - Revis pulling a hamstring after chasing Moss into the endzone for a TD.

    Morneau and his concussion.
The CHICAGO white sox team, practically.
And theyre not like minor injuries either, these are intesne, out for the season injuries. not all but most.

We could possibly take McCollum with the 10th pick and trade him to the kings for Marcus Thornton. I would personally prefer if we kept McCollum because he can give us scoring off the bench and he will bring that maturity of having been in college...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
