Hello all, I got this cool tidbit from Blazeredge. Enjoy.

Shootaround notes — Blazers' Oden, Przybilla go full speed; Camby will play
    Published on Oct 7, 2010 01:18PM  5 Comments
Portland Trail Blazers centers Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla ran through intense full-court drills for more than 15 minutes following a shootaround Thursday morning at Energy Solutions Arena.

Oden (left knee) and Przybilla (right knee) are recovering from major surgery and are not active for tonight's preseason game against Utah. However, the duo ran at almost full speed while catching length-of-the-court passes for layups, and appeared to leap with almost full agility as they caught passes off the backboard that were soon dunked.

Przybilla looked the strongest and appeared leaner than last season. Oden ran with a slight limp, but moved up and down the court well. The duo looked the most comfortable in the low block, working with Raymond Sykes.

Blazers center Marcus Camby (groin) said he will play tonight against the Jazz. Camby expects to see limited minutes, but that is mainly because it is a preseason game, not due to his recent injury.

"I just want to get out there," Camby said. "Get to sweat things out, too."

Portland point guard Andre Miller — who is leaner and in better shape than he was at any point last season — said he wants to continue his career with the Blazers, and hopes the team picks up an option for the 2011-12 season.

"That's the plan," Miller said. "Even though it was a team option, I look at it as a three-year bid."

Miller said he felt more comfortable playing with Portland this year. Everything from improved team chemistry to better conditioning has already made a difference.

"It's just a communication thing about everybody," Miller said. "I think everything will work out this year."

In addition, Miller has been greatly impressed by the play of Blazers guard and ex-Jazz player Wesley Matthews. Miller said Matthews' smooth yet intense style is years beyond his age.

    Whoops let's try this again.

Hello blazer fans. I bring you news! instead of Quick bashing Rudy articles, I bring you an article from Utah Journalists. Compare the differences if you will. Notice any negatives? I see only a truthful report about the team progress. They even give updates on Oden, Pryz, and Camby's status for tonight. Here, we learn about a scrimmage..hmm somethings lacking. Anyway, read on and enjoy.

Did not take the first time. I posted this originally on the Oregonian, for some reason they don't have any news or reports about this.

Great post, thanks, and ya Canzano and Quick need to get off their high horses, we need some humble journalists who don't think having an extensive vocabulary and a degree elevates them above the masses.

Yeah that's much better than Quick and Canzano trying to start stories even if there aren't any to get more readers and listeners. Thanks.

But Pendergraph just went down with his knee!! Hope it is not as bad as it sounds, but I just can't believe this! Pull Camby out now so he doesn't get hurt!!

Its good to hear someone actually giving us a lil tid-bit on Joel/Greg. Nice to hear they are going "almost full speed" in "intense" drills. even though Oden was quoted as running with a "slight limp", it's nice to hear these things. I don't want to rush them, these things take time, but at the same time we are all just so anxious to get them back and have a dominant low post game. Sounds like Joel is in amazing shape....that's what I like to hear! And let's hope JP's injurt is infact "not major" like his tweet said. He's a tough dude and I like his toughness on the court.

The limp doesn't worry me at this point, he needs to learn to play through pain if he's going to stay on the court long enough to remain a blazer. If he doesn't have a good season this year, history tells us Oden will be getting a new start elsewhere next season.... that being said do we have a team option on him next year?

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
