Who will fill the last 2 roster spots?

As the preseason games carry out, McMillan will have to watch and decide: what 2 players is he going to need to round out the roster on the bench.  Will he decide by who earns it during the preseason?  Or simply by how many men he needs active at each position.   Let's go with what we do know, assuming everybody is healthy starting the season (minus Pryzbilla and Oden):
    Starting Lineup                     Bench                               Position Breakdown
    A. Miller                               J. Bayless                      PG   Miller, Bayless, Roy
    B. Roy                                  R. Fernandez                 SG   Roy, Fernandez, Matthews
    N. Batum                             W. Matthews                  SF    Batum, Matthews, Roy, Fernandez, Cunningham
    L. Aldridge                           D. Cunningham              PF    Aldridge, Pendergraph, Cunningham
    M. Camby                             J. Pendergraph              C     Camby, Aldridge, Pendergraph

Pendergraph is undersized at the C position, but being that we don't have any other options for now, he's going to have to cut it.  Will Nate pull Camby early and slide L.A. into the C position every game, or just against teams Pendegraph would be undersized against?  Our frontcourt is going to struggle against a team like the Lakers, I don't see Jeff holding his own against Gasol or Bynum.
Looking at the roster breakdown, left out are P. Mills, A. Johnson, E. Williams at the guard postions, and L. Babbitt at SF, fighting for the last 2 spots.
It's too bad that 3 of the 4 guys fighting for those 2 roster spots are guards.  We don't need another guard on the bench.  Babbitt has been underwhelming to say the least.  He has size, but that's it.  Can he play PF?  If not, he shouldn't be on the bench either.  And when all is said and done, when Pryzbilla or Oden come back, 3 of those 4 guys are going to be in street clothes, and if we are lucky to have Pryz and Oden both healthy, I think it's safe to say neither of those guys will be dressed to play.
Does Nate just choose the best "players" out of the 4?  Or by need, which would be putting Babbitt in so if our bigs get in foul trouble, you can give Cunningham more time at PF and consequently Pendergraph more time at C.  Thoughts and/or feeling anyone?

smart post, good q's. unfortunately we cant answer them only speculate.
Babbit is going to play PF?
Isnt he about 6'8? Man , some teams have SF that size, i like my big guys, to be big, like oden and aldridge.
But babbit has a nice J, according to his teamates, and i think i mentioned this before. People were upset that aldridge was taking jumpshots from too far away, now if babbit is in that spot will he do the same? Or would it make more sense for him to move to SF?
Im uncertain about Babbits,Pendergraph, and Cunninghams height, so i dont know much about these younger guys to give any input really.

Not sure I am following the question correctly, but  Babbitt and Johnson get my vote. Williams will have to wait for the Rudy saga to end. Mills should already have been gone.

Mills and Fernandez, done deal. Its good that we're showcasing Rudy, it raises his stock. Camby will be ready. Babbitt at the sf spot. Armon is a keeper for sure. Williams, athleticism is not enough. Ask Harold Miner [baby Jordan, what a joke] what his athleticism got him. Unless Williams is a Shannon Brown type, he'll be put in a package that gets us something we need. Whatever we do, id love to see us keep Pryzbilla.

Bynum's out for the start of the season, and most other teams with strong 5's are recovering from injury (Yao, Bogut), so I don't think it will be a problem most nights having Pendergraph or Aldridge playing some Center.

As far as the rest of the post i'm confused, I don't see a full list of our preseason roster, I keep hearing we have 16 players on the roster including Mills and Fernandez, so I would think it's going to be one of them we keep or dish out, the rest of the players on our preseason roster know they won't make the team, but they are showing themselves off for overseas teams or other clubs that may need someone.

Sorry if I didn't make my post clear enough.  I was mentioning the last 2 roster spots, as in, you can only have 12 players that can actually play in the game, and I feel like 10 of the Blazers are automatically going to be on that dressed to play list.  The 10 players that will be for sure dressed up to play each game, at the start of the season, will be:
    Starting Lineup                     Bench
    A. Miller                               J. Bayless
    B. Roy                                  R. Fernandez
    N. Batum                             W. Matthews
    L. Aldridge                           D. Cunningham
    M. Camby                             J. Pendergraph

Oden, and Pryzbilla are still injured and will not be not be available to play.  That leaves 2 spots on the bench for guys that can play.  P. Mills, A. Johnson, E. Williams, and L. Babbitt are the guys that will be battling it out for those 2 spots (am I forgetting anybody?).  Hope this clarifies any confusion about my previous post.

I would still say AJ and Babbitt. But, I also think  big Joel will take one of those spots, like he said " sooner rather than later ".
Down to the last one, Babbitt.  I still <3 me some AJ, and his time will come.

Claver will make a great squad player when he develops his outside shot. His size is an asset because he can guard SF and stretch 4s. If he can be a better rebounder and add a post move to his game we could be looking at a possible answer to our f...

Oden was definitely the best pick coming out of high school and arguably ahead of Durant in the 2007 draft. But the draft is art not science and we really needed a dominant center at the time. If we can get Oden for a short term low-risk deal. Lik...
