    Yea, I know the game isn't until tomorrow, but it's still a big test in my opinion. We do not have success in their building, flat out. Even thought it is only a pre-season game, if we can get a win, maybe it will give us confidence to know we can win there and use that as ammunition to get it done during the regular season.

    I doubt the hot shooting can continue (16 3-pt fg made on over 60% shooting), but I loved that we got to the line and actually knocked them down. What impressed me most last night was the emphasis on running. We got a stop then immediately pushed the ball down the court and it ended in some highlight reel stuff.

    Do you think Matthews will receive a warm ovation?

    Utah and Denver will be true tests. I was feeling a bit sorry for the Clips last night by halftime.

    If the Blazers continue to jump on teams right from he start defensively, the hot shooting could continue. Offense starts with defense.
     Last night was beautiful , with the exception of the rookie turnovers at the end, but thats what rookies do. I'm glad Nate at least gave them a chance to get their feet wet, AJ has time to learn. Can't wait to see Camby in addition to what we saw last night.
    Could Nico be any smoother ??
    Nice to see Rudy putting points on their face again.
     Pretty sure Wesley will get booed, if I lived in Utah I would be mad too. So sorry Jazz ( not ) !!

    As long as we have a good start in the first and third qtrs we will have a good chance to win because every time we have a bad start the Jazz take the lead and run and hide so when we have a good start everything else will follow.

    I think Nic & Durant will battle for years of who is the smoothest player in the NBA, and also I feel that wesley will get a warm ovation because of the player and person he is and Utah fans are simular to our fans that until he get into it with one of their players or just destroy them on offense.

    I may consider Durant smooth when I see him run down his man and block a layup.

    Durant is smooth. Don't you remember his coast to coast dunk, in traffic none the less, over us last year in OKC?
    It'll be interesting to see if the Jazz have their usual awesome team chemistry with so many different faces. Oh, and I think you'll hear some boos towards Matthews' direction. The Jazz fans boo nearly everyone who played for them before and return in another uniform.

    Didn't say coast to coast dunk,  when Durant runs his man down on defense and blocks the shot looking smooth maybe I will agree  :)

    Nic edges Durant in smoothness cause he rocks the red and black.

    Do Jazz fans need an excuse to boo? I think they boo more during games then they cheer.

    Jazz fans are considered to be some of the worst. So I would not be surprised if he got booed. Beating Utah will be very tough but I agree with good first and third quarter starts. That, IMO, is key.

    By the way, when was the last time we won in Utah?
    I am a fan of making Kobe cry in the Western Conference Finals.

    I think the game is radio only. I can watch some playoff Baseball AND listen to the Blazer game.

    Here's a nice shootaround report from Brian T Smith, formerly of the Columbian, now a beat writer for the Jazz-
     Portland Trail Blazers centers Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla ran through intense full-court drills for more than 15 minutes following a shootaround Thursday morning at Energy Solutions Arena.

    Oden (left knee) and Przybilla (right knee) are recovering from major surgery and are not active for tonight's preseason game against Utah. However, the duo ran at almost full speed while catching length-of-the-court passes for layups, and appeared to leap with almost full agility as they caught passes off the backboard that were soon dunked.

    Przybilla looked the strongest and appeared leaner than last season. Oden ran with a slight limp, but moved up and down the court well. The duo looked the most comfortable in the low block, working with Raymond Sykes.

    Blazers center Marcus Camby (groin) said he will play tonight against the Jazz. Camby expects to see limited minutes, but that is mainly because it is a preseason game, not due to his recent injury.

    "I just want to get out there," Camby said. "Get to sweat things out, too."

    Good to hear Greg and Joel are running. I am blown away that Joel may be back sooner than Greg. Not only did he injury his knee twice but his was a tear compared to Greg's break. I think the tendinitis is what's holding G.O. back.

    I heard on 95.5 that the jazz will stream it so I guess we have to go to their site to watch, since comcast is BLOWING IT!

    Well this is one big thing I have on Brandon. He gets way to comfortable just shooting jumpers for way too long!!!! DRIVE TO THE BASKET! This is why right now the Jazz have only 5 fouls and we have 9 and also why the score is 27 to 9 Jazz!!! If he goes the whole game like this it will be frustrating. I think that was his biggest problem last year and why people think his game is waning.

    But at least it is only preseason.

    Millsap was working it, man he is sooooo good on the glass.
    he led the ncaa for 3 years in rebounding, im pretty sure.
    But he's just now gonna start to break out, and become an even bigger asset to that Utah Team.
    I am a fan of The Blazers ♂, the £-Train, and of course, The ¤ King. ™
