What a performance by the Rip City Squad. The Cardiac Kids took a break from games fans watched with a defibrillator charging next to the recliner! (Memphis,SA)... So fans how about our boy Greg Oden ?!? What a beast he was last night ! The game was a 48 minute highlight reel and nearly everyone was "on" but I was especially pumped to see Greg not only dominate anyone that dared to enter the paint but to also make a resounding statement regarding the Oden vs Durant controversy which has brewed in the national media and sometimes even in our fair city.... Greg stomped and pillaged while KD was owned by Travis Outlaw in a truly underwhelming performance (haha) by the young Thunder SF... Aaaahhh....soooo gratifying...... And I still contend that we are seeing, even when Greg plays at his best, just a fraction of what's in store for us (and opposing players!) in the future....I really hope he takes it to the next level in the playoffs! Congratulations Trailblazers on a brilliant and exciting season... Denver,go cut yourself a switch !!! Playoffs '09 Baby !!!! (the poster formerly known as Ron Hurlburt)

Glad to see you made the jump to the new site Ron. I enjoy parying with you. But in this case, I completely agree. It was good for BRoy and LTrain to kind of get the night off, although 20 points doesn't seem too much like a night off.
Liked what I saw from Ruffin also.
I think Denver could be in a lot of trouble from us. I really don't think they match up well against us, especially at PF and C. I really like the defense that Blake has been playing lately, so maybe he can keep Billups under control. I am also really excited to watch Batum, hopefully he's back, take on Mello. I don't think Outlaw can handle him, but I know Batum can.

Now remember, according to "Big Suke" on 1080 theFan, the Blazers should've drafted Durant, traded Outlaw, picked up the one-eyed Amare, and Portland might be able to play well against Big Suke's favorite team, the Lakers.

I have a better idea. Leave the Blazers alone and send Amare and Durant to the Fakers. What a great team that would make.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
