    From Oregon Live-
When asked last November to describe his relationship with new teammate Andre Miller, Roy didn't want to be quoted.

    "Our relationship,"Roy said, "is delicate."

Roy wondered why the veteran point guard never talked to him. He was miffed that the offense no longer went through him, but rather through the probing dribbles of Miller. It got so bad that during preseason games, Roy openly huffed at perceived snubs when the ball went to the other side of the court.

And when the team went to huddles during timeouts, more times than not, Roy would slap hands with every Blazer ... except Miller.
But it all really started to shift for Roy this summer, when he went to a psychologist. It was during a session when Roy said he had an 'ah-ha' moment regarding his relationship with Miller.

"It was a big thing for me when I realized it – I wasn't reaching out enough," Roy said. "I'm a sharer and a giver, but there are times I can be stubborn mentally – where if I think something is right, I think it's right."

Miller too, was doing his own self-evaluation. After his argument with McMillan, he immediately became more open and communicative. He realized that while Roy never approached him, he never approached Roy, making him just as much to blame.

"The dialogue wasn't there from the start," Miller said. "I think both of us kind of had the same personality: quiet-type leaders. Maybe as a veteran I should have stepped out a little bit more. You know, as a point guard initiate the dialogue so we could establish something. But by both of us being quiet, it was read differently than it should."

There's much more in that article, but you can get the gist of it. I knew they weren't on the same page, but I didn't have any idea it was that bad. I am so happy there is no drama around the team, the starting 5, and player roles. Health won't be the only thing that will take this team to the top. If Brandon and Andre can continue to see eye to eye and compliment one another as we saw at times last year, the chemistry we had in 08 and 09 could start to be coming back. We don't have a ton of superstars so team chemistry and toughness is going to have to be our M.O. this year if we have deep playoff runs in our dreams.

I knew it was bad, but not that bad. Isn't this the second time Brandon has done this to a player? I recall he had a problem with Lamarcus too his first year or two. I'm glad Brandon is honest about it, but I really hope he doesn't try to make a habit of this again with any new comer on the team... like say Wesley Matthews. BTW Wesley had the quote of the day for me the other day. Mike Barrett quoted Brandon to Wes as saying he is glad he won't have to play against Wes any more, but Wesley immediately shut that down and said something along the lines of oh he'll still have to play me, in practice!
I think one of the best things about bringing in Wesley is for that very reason, Brandon will practice against him every day now and it doesn't sound like Wes plans on taking it easy on him. How much better will that make Brandon now?? On both offense and defense. It will also help Wes.
Can't wait for the season to start!!!!

Also I remember Brandon saying something about the rookies asking Camby AND Miller for advice and to pick their brains. I was thinking it was great to hear Brandon actually acknowledge Miller in that way to the rookies. Last year I remember never hearing Roy talk about Miller or giving him any credit, even one time I remember a reporter said something good about Miller and Roy didn't even acknowledge that and instead changed it and said Blake did just as well, like he was correcting the reporter. Now I really think it was great to hear from Brandon.

Grown man, can still act like children, no matter how talented they are.
Blazer players maybe need to skip Training camp and get Psych Evals.

First need is a centre. And no one will take ten and 13 for 4th or 5th. After like the 10th pick the talent off is huge.

@Meese, it is quite ironic. They also just so happen to have the planets best player in Lebron James who leads them in rebounding with just over 8 a game.

But that''s what separates them from the rest. Look at the Heat ...

Yes, let''s become completely sh*t, because the 2023 draft class in the best since 2003. This kid LeKobe Gasoldridge is the best ever. He is 8"9 with a 35" wingspan. He grew up in 5 century greece with the spartans so we know he''s tough. I heard ...
