The Blazers are a great team and i expect them to win the division and clinch the 3 seed in the west. What do you think?

We're a year older. Let's see if we're a year wiser. We made a teensie weensie move of acquiring Wesley Matthews, who i think will do well in our system. Im certainly sparked about Armon & Babbitt. Other than you tube clips and the fact that it's been said that he can flat out jump out the building, Elliot Williams is a mystery to me. The way i miss Outlaw's jaw droppin leaps, i welcome the kid.

Having said that, i agree. The west is up for grabs. The healthiest to the finish line, wins. Which brings up my only concern. Injuries. Let's just hope that we stay healthy. Not very many squads can sustain the hits we endure injury wise. The new GM and his people are in place. Likewise the coaching staff. We've assembled a damned fine supporting cast around Brandon. We're not where we want to be, but we sure arent where we were. Im ready, you're ready. Lets make it happen. Go Blazers!!!

Great Year: Reaching Western Conference Finals
Expected Year: Reaching the Western Conference Semi Finals
Poor Year: Reaching the Western Conference Quarter Finals
    Disaster Year: Lottery bound!

I think that sums it up nicely :D

I think the Blazers will pull into the 4-5 seed in the west. I believe they have the talent to do better but there will be an adjustment period and unpredicted injuries. If they can gel come April I think we could go onto to round two of the playoffs and "maybe" farther. Naturally being a lifelong Blazer fan I want them to win it all but I am not going to get unrealistic in my predictions!

    peace out,

The West is not the dominate conference they were last year. Phoenix lost Amare, Denver is on the verge of losing Melo, Jazz lost Matthews. With that said the only real threat I see division wise is OKC and i think that Western Conference Finals is honestly a realistic goal.

I think the challengers for the Lakers in the WCF could be us, OKC, Houston, or Dallas. You are certainly right..the West is really down in comparison to past years...esp if Melo goes East.

I think the division is ours if Melo is traded.  The Jazz got worse, the Nuggets would get worse, OKC would stay the same, and we'd get HEALTHY.  When we're healthy OKC is no match.  Our depth and backcourt is too much for them.  The top three are going to be LAL, DAL, POR... in any order.

Great year:  The Lakers losing to the 4 seeded Thunder, then us beating OKC in the WCF
Expected year: WCF loss in 6-7 to Los Angeles
Decent year:  Semi's loss in 6-7 games
    Bad year: First round loss

Chemistry issues, and with them, growing pains.  The integration of new faces, as well as returning players from injury, into a system that has yet to be determined.  Will Nate make an adjustment offensively?  The most advantageous use of available pieces has been a point of contention in the past as well.  The trade deadline may bring with it even more adjustments, the degree of which may prove severe.  Whatever the case may be, behind the leadership of Brandon Roy, Marcus Camby and newcomer Wesley Matthews this team will once again endure and hopefully be hitting it's stride going into the postseason.  Just a word of caution...be patient Rip City.

After all is said and done, Division champs and Western Conference Semis

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.
