for telling us we could buy tickets today. I pre registered, and signed in at exactly 12:00, to be told the tickets I wanted were not available. Thank you for NOTHING. I love my Blazers, but the management needs to get it's act together. I'm done......................

"Noon, Sept 24" hyped for fans, but links not working...spent a ton of time trying to get tickets...all for naught.  Bad PR promotions team!  Maybe we will go to the movies instead.

Hey Kim, sorry you couldn't get tickets to a game. This isn't the one and only presale. Season Ticket Holders have one prior to iama members. If you were trying to get tickets to Miami, there were a lot of people trying to get those tickets. The demand was larger than the supply... there were only a few tickets for Miami left for this presale and they obviously went quickly.

The other tickets that were limited in supply were the two Laker games, Celtics, Magic and Opening Night. I checked on both Lakers games looked sold out and so did Boston. Opening Night was available. What game were you trying to get tickets for?

As far as the links not working. The only issue that I heard for our ticketing site was that AOL was having some issues. I encouraged the two fans I talked to on the phone to upgrade to FireFox. Sorry that sites weren't responding for you @isbth. Were you able to put the presale code in? Or was that the page that wasn't working?

Once again, I'm sorry... and as always we'll try to continue to learn from mistakes. This is the first year of really doing a presale through iamatrailblazersfan.com.

    Dan.

Same problem today :(   I hope the scalpers are making a killing.  Just like the comcast deal. I feel like management dropped the ball again. Even worse, is being told tickets were available.
Looks like the Blazers don't want my money this year. I was much happier when I got to deal soley with Jeff W, I never had a problem.
Glad he got a promotion, but I am unhappy with my replacement " help " if that is what the Blazer management wants to call it.

What a horrible process! I am outraged at just how inefficient the "online at noon" ticket purchasing is. I know this probably trickles down from the Association, but I'm very ashamed at the Trailblazer's management as well. I know not many things in life are "fair", but telling thousands of people to go online at the same time and STILL expect a ticket is just, in my opinion, wrong. How many times-and how many more events, across all sports arenas-do we have to endure this painstaking, nail biting process? It's also the ONLY way to purchase single game tickets; no box office, no phone purchases, etc. I would much rather camp in front of the rose garden for a month than try to be one of the lucky people online to get their tickets within four minutes, without any "technical difficulties". Now, instead of supporting my local team, I have to go online and buy tickets from a separate vendor on some website, where I'll pay twice as much and the Blazers won't see a dime of the money. Even worse, the money's probably going to some Laker fan. Radical.

Amen Kim. Blazers don't want our money. They want Comcast, scalpers, and 3rd party vendors to make the killings. This way, we all know that the Rose Garden will never get any bigger, the Blazers will never host an All-Star game (or any event to increase profit), and Blazer Mania will NEVER walk the streets of Portland like it did in the (oh so wonderful) past.

Don't forget you can always try the season ticket holder exchange if you're looking for tickets. At least that way you can ensure you're not helping a scalper and the tickets are legit.

Craigslist, although can be sketchy sometimes, often times works very well for getting good tickets at a decent price. The Blazers "scale rated" the prices recently so "bigger" games against better teams are waaayy more expensive, just like they would be in the open market. If you go onto craigslist and look for Blazer tickets (there will be tonnns of ads) the day before or day of the game, if you're willing to wait that long, people that haven't sold their tickets yet will sell them for face OR below face value

The only thing that could anger me more than I am now, would be to buy fake tickets.

Be careful what you wish for Blazer fans.

I wished for a championship team, now I can't go watch them live, and people who don't have comcast can't watch either......

I understand it's a business, I don't want to  bash the people who work in ticket sales.  I can buy Blazer tickets in Oakland with no problem today without having to buy a package.
If Blazer management doesn't  see a problem with advertising " singles games " when it's truly a sales pitch for a larger pack,  it is what it is.

    Hey guys--

Wanted to jump in here as hopefully I can clarify some of these issues... yes, when the popularity goes up getting tickets is harder. That's great to have more people wanting to see the games, but it's also a curse. We never want to have any of our fans to have a bad experience.

    1) I agree with Dustin (DHawes22), buy at the ReSale Center if you want authentic tickets. Craigslist is a crap shoot. All the time people come to the arena with fake tickets. It happens a lot. Click here for the resale center.

    2) There are tickets that are still available for games. You can still see the team play. Will it be against Miami, no... probably not. But those guys come once a year. This same thing happened when Jordan was with the Bulls. Super hard to get tickets, sells out quickly. We aren't used to this for the last couple of years, but unfortunately we're at that point again. OKC would be a great opponent to see. Phoenix would be another. Orlando, Boston... there are other games besides the Lakers and Miami.

    3) Camping out for tickets is also an issue. There isn't any camping allowed on the RG campus for any onsale (concerts included). I think this is actually a city ordinance.  We also hear from the people that can't camp out that it is unfair as they have jobs to go to and can't stay in line for 3 days straight. It's a no win situation.

I don't like hearing that our fans are unhappy or having issues... technical problems I can have our development teams trouble shoot, making more seats in the RG, I can't. My friends and I have gone through this for concert tickets all the time... like for Phish tickets, U2, or Beastie Boy tickets to limited shows. Thousands of fans are trying to get tickets for those shows... there are a lot of people who leave the onsale bummed out. The difference with those bands and the Trail Blazers, those shows are sold out, not every games is. I'm not frustrated with the band if I can't get tickets. I have to find a way to get those tickets... if I knew that a band had two nights scheduled in Portland and I knew the set list of both nights... night #1 might have a better set list but it is sold out. I would buy tickets to night #2 and be stoked to get those tickets as I love the band.

Let me say it again... I hate that our fans would have a bad experience and really want to fix it, I'm just not quite sure how this can be fixed short of making more seats in the RG.
