Rudy is a professional teenager, going through what i hope is only a sense of self entitlement stage. He's a good player, who's not as good as he thinks he is. He is a spoke, on the wheel, of the other bike, thats apparently loose.

Natural talent is not enough. It resides between raw and pure.

If he said that stuff he better mean it. His agent pry told him to say it because he hasnt been traded yet and better get some fans back in portland. If he went through with his threats it was not gunna get any prettier and his image would look worse than it has shaped into. I was originally stumped when i heard the statement but after thinking about it, im glad he released something "positive" and i ssee what he was most likely trying to accomplish. Oh well whatever, hopefully he means it, cuz he can still be a part of something great here. Lets face it....he maybe a "star" in europe, but the NBA is a WHOLE different world, and in the NBA....he is just a talented role player.

Meh, Rudy finally just got a hold of a PR team and they told him what to say. We all know he wants out. The team wants him gone. Its only a matter of time. In a city know for their numerous bridges, Rudy has seemingly burnt them all.

Rudy's coming to terms with himself, and while it's okay to be quick to judge a millionaire, we should also be just as quick to forgive the kid, after all I'm 25 and I'm still figuring out enough stuff about myself everyday to write a book on. I believe he had a great opportunity to grow as a person this summer, and while he started off horribly, he's definitely saying the right things headed into camp....which is all we can ask for right? His current attitude is only going to improve his trade value, while also negating the worry that he's going to be a distraction on this team.

    Bravo Rudy, Bravo.

i personally think he's doing this to save his appearance to other teams. nobody wants to bring on a a cry baby. hes thinking long term - deal with portland now to get what he wants later. saying that, if his heart is there and he becomes more consistant hes a great player to have.
I am a fan of being apart of the party in portland after we win the championship!

Yeah I was one of them *blushes*. I was never a diehard fan of basketball until the 2011-2012 postseason. I could name every team, but I always forgot two. Kings and Blazers.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
