    From OregonLive-
Fernandez, according to a source, rejected a possible trade to New Orleans, where he could have played for former Blazers assistant Monty Williams, now the Hornets' coach.

Chicago also has that future first-rounder it acquired from Charlotte last February in the Tyrus Thomas deal, and I suspect the Blazers would have more than a little interest in that pick. But it's protected until 2016, and I also suspect the Bulls want to hang on to that pick in case it turns into something good

Very interesting, but not at all surprising.  At this point, it may not be a bad move for Cho to use Rudy in a package deal, rather than shop him independently.

If Rudy continues this, why not just let him sit at the end of the bench for the remaining two years of his contract? He wants to play hardball with this organization? Fine, we still own his rights contractually. You know, maybe if he wasn't so dang picky about which team he wanted to play with, he could have been shipped out of here by now.

Why not cancel his contract and pay him the extra fees that apply to that, and then pick up someone thats a free agent later on, maybe after the first month. Or after Oden's knee blows out, the blazers will be in need of another big man, Rasheed Wallace is still a free agent, and i think he's played here before right*joke*, but seriously correct me if i am missing something.
If rudy doesnt want to cooperate with anyone. Cancel his contract and put him on the free agency market, maybe we could find someone to benifit the team, if no one signs the good ones first, Iverson,Wallace, ect.
Rudy also gets the $#!T end of the stick because then he's on the market and a team will have to go after him then, well who's gonna go after someone who refuses to play, and would rather sit on the bench than play, no one. End his career now, if hes so un happy, maybe a career change is inevitable.

Rumors have shown that the Rockets are very interested in Dwight Howard and that the interest is mutual.

    I''d trade for Asik.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.
