    With Melo and Denver possibly parting ways ..

    How do you guys see the division with a Melo-less Denver team come playoffs ?

    If he does go to leaves then Portland most likely will win its division. But even if he doesn't I think Portland will be stronger this year. Plus it all depends on where he goes/who Denver gets in return.
    I am a fan of Not only beating LA ("beat LA!") but all the other teams in the league!!!

    Think about this: when most star players demand a trade their play goes down, they nolonger play with any fire or desire for the team. The one player that i do remember that actually acted like a professional after asking to be traded was Clyde the glyde. My point is that even if he is not traded he wont play as hard and will be a distraction to the team, and that is good thing for all teams in the division.

    Trade him EAST! It means we have to deal with him two less times a year. Also, maybe it'll be a little easier to win in Denver now, because he always seemed to get 35 a night when we played them there. The bigger questions is, does this put Billups on the market?

    The Blazers win the division with or without Melo in Denver.  I hope he goes east.

    Even with Melo the Nuggets winning the division is no gimmie. OKC and Utah are tougher than people are giving them credit for. Amazing that any team other than the Timberwolves could win the division and no one would be surprised.

    I'm still not sold on Utah. They can't play all 82 in the Delta Center and it's becoming Deron Williams and a bunch of other guys. Will they be in the thick of things in the NW? Most likely, but I think OKC and Portland will pull away from the pack in March.

    The past two year's I've said Utah is a dark horse candidate to win the division and make a WCF's appearance.

    But they have seemingly self imploded every year ..

    I think no matter what Utah is not going to do much of anything .. which really surprises me .. as Deron should be able to take that loaded roster back to the WCF's at LEAST .. once ..

    Ya'll playing the Laker's last playoffs card.
    You guys talk about Durant so much but always forget about him in this division race.
    OKC has one of the biggest advantages when playing at home in the sea of blue shirts, they murdered the Lakers morale last year, what do you think theyre gonna do to the Blazers morale?

    @TayC: We dominated the Thunder and the Lakers in the regular season last year with an injured roster.
    We took the Lakers 2-1, and the Thunder 3-4 (?) I believe.
    It doesn't necessarily mean we're a better team than them, it just means we match up better with them.
    Even though I believe the Blazers to have a better squad than the Thunder.
    Personally, I think the Thunder are over-rated, just my opinion.
    The media was saying the same things about the Blazers LAST off-season.

    IF the Blazers can stay healthy, we may have a chance to win the Division title.
    Anthony hasn't left the Nuggets roster yet, and the Utah Jazz are being under-rated with the loss of Boozer.
    3 teams could grab it, who knows.
