Report: Trail Blazers Hire New Player Development Director

     BlazerFreeman The Blazers have hired Dean Cooper as player development director, a new position in GM Rich Cho's reorganized front office staff.

    Cooper has worked in the front office with the Houston Rockets and as an assistant coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

    Cooper will oversee the development and improvement of Blazers players through a new system Cho, his staff and players coaches create.
    I've personally never heard of Cooper before, does anyone have any insight on him? Seems like another guy to help get the rights puzzle pieces in place.

    At my workplace, we too just introduced an aid to the assistant of customer service satisfaction services. And we're damned lucky to have him. We all knew how beneficial our paycuts would be.
