    Well, they are making a new version of it and the West rosters just got leaked. Thanks to Marc Stein, here are your virtual Trail Blazers:
     Oden will never miss a game because of injury in Jam. That's the good news. His challenge will be convincing Blazers-minded gamers to put him on the floor when they can choose Aldridge ahead of him or the option of teaming up their modern-day face of the franchise (Roy) with a glory-days FOTF (Glide). (P.S. -- Still not thrilled that Nicolas Batum didn't make the cut.)

    I'm kind of peeved we only received 3 current players when some other teams had 4. How do you leave out Batum? Playing with the Glide again would be amazing though!

    Apparently I was mistaken in believing that "Boom Shaka Laka" was a Wheels original.  Great trailer though!  Thanks for the link TayC.

    ha ha that's awesome. I remember playing the game with Clyde and Porter back in the day. That's also one of the reasons I couldn't stand Brian Wheeler at first. I mean out of all the lame "catchy" phrases he says he also had to quote a video game from the 90's!!! Well now I know I was just spoiled because the Schonz was innovative, original and quite simply the best announcer I've heard and I guess Wheels didn't get it from the video game after all... but still, every time Wheels says Boom Shaka Laka or even the cornier Batum Shaka Laka this is exactly what I think of!

    Thanks for finding the trailor. Man, I don't know what I was expecting but the new NBA JAM looks weird. What's up with the abnormally large heads? Maybe the original was cool because I was 9 at the time it came out? I was hoping it would look more like NBA Street from back in the early 00's, but guys not. The graphics look kind of weird.

    Heck yeah I remember NBA Jam. I think they had TP, Drexler at least for us on the old one I think but I could be wrong. Man, you could also play as the Grim Reaper, and also as Bill Clinton and Al Gore if I remember if you knew the codes or something. Hmm, as for the new one, pretty cool to see familiar images and all, but I don't know, I am a fan of originals (like the original Nintendo vs. the newer versions for example).

    I am a fan of Beating the Lakers on opening night, Lillard being the next big thing and this season being successful!

    Actually I think the original had even larger heads!
    But yeah this would probably get real old fast, just like the original, unless they added some depth the the actual gameplay.

    OK I just realized Brandon was in the promo a lot but it was because everyone was scoring on him! Geez nice little bit of subliminal lack of respect for either Brandon, the Blazers or both. Nothing ever changes! Speaking of respect, we have 3 players and one legend and of course the Lakers have 4 players and two legends, the most out of any one in the West except... Golden State??!?
