Probably getting an average of 20 and 10 or 18 and 11.  If he learns to use this new frame he has, he can do it, without question.

apperantly from what i hear, is he needs to bulk up and fight when he's in the paint, grab a few more boards.
i personally think that and workin on that j, man that j is such a killer.

There is a vastly severe lack of "banging" bigs in the league .. If LMA can learn to use that new size and strength to literally bully his way around on the inside .. He will become one of the best bigs in the game ..

Quite literally there are no more then maby 2-3 at most PF's in the league who actively bang .. the rest are simply face up spot up type guys ..

As I said if LMA can learn to use his bulk now and back down other PF's .. (he has a huge advantage over the vast majority of PF's in the league already as most are not even close to his 6'11 size as it is) he will easily be an allstar.

Its all in the hips .. lol

For those of you that have read my previous thoughts on this subject...read no further. :)

LA has reportedly put on some weight, presumably muscle mass.  I am hoping that he has added significant strength in his core and in his legs.  In years past, the "unveiling" of the new and improved Aldridge at the Blazer FanFest always drew "oohs and ahhs" from the Rose Garden faithful.  LA has had a pattern of lifting for size during the idle summer months.  Size in his UPPER body.  This is NOT where he needs it.  Aldridge plays far too upright in the post, negating any advantage his upper body strength and uncommon athleticism might otherwise give him.

I am just a fan, a bluecollar one at that.  I know that if I recognize this, then surely those associated with the team...specifically the strength and conditioning coaches, have been pursuing strides with LA in this department long before now.

I am a fan of players that play with PASSION and PRIDE

I'm thinking and hoping that since they reported he's gained 20lbs in muscle like a month or two after our season ended, that is kind of fast to gain that much pure muscle mass, unless he worked on his legs and lower body. Then again I've never been 6'11" so maybe it's easier to gain that weight in muscle that fast. But I'm definitely with you on him needing to build up his lower body and core strength.

As much as the physical side i would say that LA needs to get it between his ears that he is capable of being a banger. I dont want him going in there being a dirty player, but when someone drives on you every once in a while put him on his back. Talk some trash, look at Keven Garnett's lanky butt. He has almost no muscle, but still gets in there a bangs. I dont want LA anything like that A-hole attitude wise, but as far as playing the game there is a reason he has been an all star.

You do not need to be a great rebounding team, if your team is efficient (Miami near 50% shooting), gets to the foul line a lot (Miami), does not allow many offensive rebounds, forces turnovers (Miami), and does not give up a lot of easy points (M...
